ENTRY FEES: OBEDIENCE & RALLY TRIAL CLASSES FIRST ENTRY of a dog in a Regular Class. $25.00 Each additional Entry of the same Dog, same trial... $15.00 Each Non-Regular Class Entry.$15.00 Although these trials are a cluster weekend, the two clubs are separate entities and require separate entry forms and checks. Make entries for the Lake Eustis Kennel Club trials on Friday payable to LEKC, and entries for the Central Florida Obedience Dog Club trials on Saturday and Sunday payable to CFODC, Inc. Entry Rules: Entries close at 12 p.m. on Wednesday March 1, 2017, after which entries cannot be accepted, changed, or cancelled. Entries must be signed by owner or agent and submitted with fees ONLY on the standard AKC entry form. No other entries will be accepted. Telephone, Fax, and Unsigned Entries Cannot Be Accepted. Downloaded and/or Photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Express or overnight entries MUST be marked NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Acknowledgement of receipt of entry will be made by email. If you do not receive email confirmation that your entry was received within a reasonable time after mailing it, notify the Trial Secretary. Inform the Secretary if you do not have email. Allow several days for first class mail. An entry mailed on Monday (Feb. 27) will probably not be received in time. Late entries cannot be accepted per AKC rules. Entry confirmations, judging schedules, ring assignments and directions to the show site will be emailed no later than 10 days before the trials. You MUST indicate jump height for all classes which require jumps. Obedience Entry Fees: $25.00 first entry, $15.00 for second entry of same dog, same trial. Non- Regular Classes Entry Fees: $15.00 for each entry, regardless of number of entries per dog. Entry Fees include the AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 for the first entry of a dog and $3.00 for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes, and the $0.50 AKC Recording Fee (on first entry only). Rally Entry Fees: $25.00 first entry each day, $15.00 second entry same dog, same trial. Entry Fees for Rally include the AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 for each first entry and $3.00 for each additional entry. Obedience and Rally are separate events; if you enter both Obedience and Rally in the same trial, the First Entry fee applies to each. Entry Fees will not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by the Trial Committee. If riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the Club make it impossible to open or complete the Trial, no refund of entry fees will be granted. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the event before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Buildings are smoke free. No dogs will be allowed in the ring for practice at any time. No dogs may be left in the building overnight. Please bring your own chairs. TRANSFERS; (applies to both regular Obedience and Rally). After a dog earns a title, it may be transferred to another class in a future trial even though the closing date for the trial has passed. The request for a transfer must be in writing and presented to the trial secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial. Transfers may be approved, provided the next event class and the judge is available and the class has not reached its limit. Transfers will be accepted prior to the day of the trial. Transfer forms are available on the AKC website and from the trial secretary. You MUST supply a jump height for the transfer. Our food vendor for the weekend will be Norman s Catering & Concessions. Photographer Margret Taylor is available to photograph you and/or your dog both days of the trial. Please check at her table for additional information Exhibitors and agents will be responsible for keeping the premises clean. Please help us remain welcome and clean up after your dog at all times. Misconduct at hotels or motels may result in an Event Committee Hearing. Please do not allow dogs to urinate or mark on the buildings. Please use the trash cans provided at the elimination area. Entry Limitations Please Read Carefully According to Chapter 1, Section 27 of the AKC Regulations, entries will be limited. Each judge will be limited to a total of seven (7) hours of judging time per day. Regular Obedience and Rally class entries (including the UDX class) will be given first priority followed by the Optional Titling class entries and then Non- Regular class entries. Entries will be taken in the order received as time limits are calculated for each judge. Rally entries will be ordered by jump height, in ascending order beginning with 4 inches. Obedience judging will be in descending order by jump height beginning with 36 inches.
