Please pick up and tie off your "package" so that during summer months especially we cut back on stink and flies. A win for all!! There will still be a regular long handled metal scooper in each run but please try to use the bags as often as possible. There will also now be a trash can for garbage and "tied off packages" in the agility field as well. Thank you for everyone's help. Please read ALL drop-down menus under Training Classes before attempting to register. 7:00 Novice Agility Tim & Angela Snow, Janet Hopson Wednesdays, June 27 Aug 10 (no class July 13) Dog/handler teams should be proficient on all obstacles and preparing for competition. This is not a beginner class. Limit: 8 8:00 Advanced Agility Tim & Angela Snow Wednesdays, June 27 Aug 10 (no class July 13) Class is limited to teams that are already competing in agility. Limit: 6 Please note: In the event of rain, a class may need to be canceled. Unfortunately, there will be no make up classes due to the start of the following session. There will be no refunds for canceled classes. All other classes will resume in mid-august. Our teachers are taking a well-deserved break. January 2017 Shows and Trials Plans for the ORKC annual Shows and Trials is a year-long process. It is important to know who will be helping as soon as possible and definitely before July 31,2016 so the information can go into the premium list for the show. The first phase of the planning for the 2017 Shows and trials on January 21 st & 22 nd at Harriman have been completed. Pending AKC approval, we will be offering two Obedience and Two Rally Trials on Saturday and One obedience and Rally trial on Sunday. Russell & Bonnie Hornfisher will be our Judges. For Conformation on Saturday we will be offering Conformation & Junior Handler Classes along with a 4-6 month Puppy Match and NOHS and only Regular Conformation and Junior Handler classes On Sunday. Pending AKC approval, our Conformation Judges will be Carmen Battaglia,, Donna Buxton, Kenneth Buxton, Houston Clark, Toddie Clark, Anne Gallant, Dennis Gallant, and Shelley Hennessy. So Far we only have 2 Supported entriec, American Eskimo Dogs and Chow Chows but are hoping for more. We are planning a Meet-the-Breed on both days Tami Bradford will be chairing this event. A Swissy Trifecta GCH CH Derby's Xotic Daisy O'Spot BN, PN, RE, CD, NWPD, WWD, VGS, "Daisy" was Best Veteran and Best Of Opposite Sex at the Cotton Classic Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Specialty in Perry. Daisy Her brother BISS GCH Derby's X Marks The Spot RN, NWPD, WWD, "Ditto" was Best Veteran in Sweepstakes at the same Specialty. So proud of both of our veterans. They both showed great and had a blast. Ditto Not to be left out, GCH Double Q's Spot On At Derby NWDP, "Fido", expertly handled by Wendi Brown, won his first Working Group at Waynesville, NC. Such an honor for our young Swissy who just turned 3 in March. Such a thrill for his humans. He showed so well and really looked like he belonged in the Best in Show ring. Fido "Daisy" is owned by Alan McFadden, Debbie Echols, & Kristin Kleeman. "Ditto" is owned by Debbie Echols & Wendi Brown. "Fido" is owned by Alan McFadden & Debbie Echols. We have been so blessed to have these wonderful dogs. All 3 are by BIS BISS CH Red Fern's Beau Derby RAE, CD, WPDX, NDD, VGS, "Spot".
Woofer June 2016 Page 4 of 8 A Chandler Double-Play At the Greater Kingsport Kennel Club on May 22 nd in Gray Tennessee Ariel Super Nova earned her Open A Title. Nova and her partner, Barbara Chandler, want to thank Nova's Open Class teachers: Anne Dunne, Jeanne Ring, and Tim Snow for helping this little girl get there. Golden Retriever, Adirondac Evening Star UD BN GO RE, earned her Rally Excellent Title at the May 2016 Hendersonville KC show in Fletcher, NC in spite of her handler, Barbara Chandler. So proud! Totally Tubular! Angela Snow s sheltie Crista earned her Novice Agility Preferred title at the ORKC trail in Harriman on April 10.

The deadline for your trophy donations to appear in the premium list for our planned 2017 All Breed,Obedience & Rally shows will be approaching soon. It is time for us to ask you about your Trophy Donations so they can meet the August Deadline. Ours shows are planned to be on Saturday, January 21st and Sunday, January 22, 2017. We would like to extend an opportunity for you to support your breed with a trophy. The trophy can be an item of your choice or you may wish purchase a Vendor Item Voucher or a combination of vouchers in the amount of $5 and $10 as a trophy or higher monetary amount. (One $5 + one $10 = $15 or Two $10 = $20). We have a deadline of July 31, 2016 for your trophy donation to be included in the premium list.
