Thank you to our Judges for accepting our invitation to join us and judge today RING 1 RING 2 Janis Christison (QFA) Janis has always been fascinated with cats and can clearly remember her first cat Josie, a grey tabby, her constant companion as a small child. Janis entered the cat fancy in Canberra in 1976 showing a Persian neuter. Her prefix Santique was granted the same year in Canberra and she bred blue, cream and blue cream Persians for many years until moving home to Queensland in 1989. In 1991 Janis began an Exotic programme from first generation breeding in most colours and patterns but always on a small scale. Many major awards were achieved over the years including Group 1 Cat of Year awards in 1987, 1990 and 1998, each time with a blue Persian! Janis currently has no entire cats having dedicated the last 14 years to caring for her retired show and breeding cats and now gives all her love and care to one very senior Blue Exotic and to the newest family member, a Black Bi colour Exotic neuter, which has brought Janis back to exhibiting and together they had a very successful 2014. Janis gained her Group 1 judge s licence in 1991, Group 2 in 2000 and Group 3 in 2001, all with QFA Inc and has judged in all Australian States and Territories and regularly for many Clubs all over New Zealand. In 2011 Janis judged in Germany and the Netherlands, in 2012 in Malaysia and in 2013 in Sweden and 3 shows in South Africa. Janis has been a Vice President of QFA since 005 and is President of QFA Inc Judges ssociation. Greg Little (CAT) My wife and I started off in the cat world in 1981 showing and breeding Siamese and Orientals after many years in the pedigree dog world, in my case from the age of 4. We obtained our first Abyssinian in 1985 and bred under the Devaraja prefix until 2005. We also own a Japanese Bobtail, and are now showing and breeding Norwegian Forest Cats in a small way under the Asgard prefix. I obtained my Group 3 judge s licence with the Feline Control Council of Victoria in 1995. In 2001 we moved to Tasmania and joined the Cat Association of Tasmania where I qualified as a Group 1 judge in 2005. In 2008 I completed my Group 2 licence to become all breeds. I have been fortunate to have judged in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, the Northern Territory, Malaysia and New Zealand.
