AUGERMATIC The feeding system for successful poultry growing

AUGERMATIC this unive A feeding system for poulty growing must meet very high standards depending on feed distribution (ad libitum or controlled feeding) and age and type of birds. The system has to satisfy the needs of dayolds as well as those of heavy birds. Easy access to the feed and avoidance of feed waste are of great importance. To meet these requirements the best possible way, we offer our customers a variety of feed pans that can all be filled with feed by means of the renowned AUGERMATIC conveying system. ) BIG PAN 330 ) BIG PAN PLUS ) MULTI PAN ) MULTI PAN PLUS The AUGERMATIC system consists of: ) lower part and upper part of feed hopper ) extension for feed hopper ) tube with conveying auger ) feed pan ) drive unit with sensor for automatic stopping of conveying auger ) suspension system with winch ) anti-roost wire 2 1 5 4 3 6 The upper part (1) with or without extension (2) is easy to detach from the lower part of the feed hopper (3). Thus, the entire system can be winched all the way to the ceiling. This allows for maximum height beneath the feed pans during manure removal. The rugged drive unit (4) and strong auger permit a conveying length of up to 150 meters. As soon as all pans are filled with feed, the sensor (5) at the control pan (6) automatically switches off the unit. Heat can be supplied to broilers by a warm water heater Big Dutchman s heat master

sal feeding system allows successful rearing and growing of broilers, ducks, tur BIG PAN 330 the well-proven feed pan for broiler growing screwless snap-on system = simple and easy to assemble pan either swinging freely or fixed to the pipe = always animal friendly simply spin the grill slightly for day-old chicks = no extra work for adjusting the feed level slide shut-off = for closing the pan pan rim curved to the inside = prevents feed wastage smooth shape of rim = avoids breast bruising during finishing period hinged-type feed pan = easy to clean V-shaped pan bottom is seated deeply into the litter = ideal for day-olds HYGIENE is of utmost importance. After washing, the rotating feed pan can be let down on its hinge and can then be drained easily and thoroughly. There are no traps and crevices for dirt.

eys and other poultry BIG PAN PLUS for controlled growing of broilers and rearing ducks volume reducing insert sectional dish Especially birds of more than 2 kg live weight are fed in a controlled manner today. In this way, the development of the cardio-vascular system and the skeleton can keep pace with the increase in weight. An essential prerequisite for controlled feeding is that the feeding system distributes the feed rapidly throughout the entire house upon each feeding time. AUGERMATIC with BIG PAN PLUS is ideally suited for this purpose. The volume reducing insert in combination with the sectional dish reduces the feed volume by approx. 2 /3. This allows filling the pans of one line with feed very rapidly. => less damages to the skeleton, less leg and foot problems; => improved feed conversion due to smaller fat deposits and lower mortality rate; => precise attainment of the bird weights desired for the day of slaughter. BIG PAN PLUS is also suited for rearing ducks up to a weight of 2.5 kg. The shallow sectional dish provides an optimum start of the ducklings, only requires a small layer of litter and prevents feed losses. Furthermore, ducks can very easily feed from the pan due to its sectional shape. The grill prevents birds from entering the pan = thus preventing soiling of feed. BIG PAN 330 and BIG PAN PLUS can also be used for rearing pullets and for feeding layers. Supplementary wheat feeding can be a good alternative in growing broilers for saving feed costs and for improving the birds health. The technical requirements for this are a second silo, the FW 99-B feed scale, conveying augers (Flex Vey) from the silo to the scale and to the feeder as well as the MC 95 production computer. MC 95 allows continuous adjustment of the portion of wheat to the total ration according to the birds development. Feed is mixed with wheat via the weighing drum and the collecting basin.

Flexible feed pans for rearing and growing MULTI PAN MULTI PAN PLUS slide shut-off 5-arm grill volume reducing insert engraving for precise adjustment of feed level in the pan feed saving collar sectional dish MULTI PAN and MULTI PAN PLUS can be used with or without feed saving collar; volume reducing insert for controlled feeding Using MULTI PAN for rearing turkeys Do you want to face the changing requirements of the poultry meat market and be flexible in reacting to these requirements? Then you should choose Big Dutchman MULTI PAN or MULTI PAN PLUS feeders. These feed pans were specially designed for alternative growing of broilers, turkeys, ducks and other growing poultry (guinea fowl, pheasants, geese) up to a live weight of 12 kg. Depending on the type of bird and feeding (ad-libitum or controlled), MULTI PAN or MULTI PAN PLUS is the right pan for your house. For growing poultry up to approx. 2.5 kg live weight as well as for rearing turkeys and ducks, the pans are used without feed saving collar. From a live weight of approx. 2.5 kg upwards, the collar can be installed to minimize feed losses. For controlled feeding, place a volume reducing insert into MULTI PAN PLUS, reducing the feed volume by approx. 2 /3 in combination with the sectional dish. This ensures rapid and uniform filling of all pans in one line immediately at the beginning of feeding. Both pans are equipped with a slide shut-off. The sectional dish is ideally suited for ducks, since they can feed easily due to the shape of their beak. Using MULTI PAN PLUS for growing ducks
