Would you like to help Adopt-An- ANGEL find homes for homeless animals? They are looking for some energetic, responsible, committed, passionate people to help out at adoption fairs. They hold adoption fairs every Saturday and Sunday at Petco on South College Road in Wilmington from 10am to 6pm. Volunteer shifts generally run from 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 6pm one day on the weekend. You can sign up weekly so come when you can. It does require some manual labor such as lifting cages, cleaning cages and walking strong dogs. There are also a few weekly shifts open for cage cleaning at various pet stores throughout the week and some transport options, too.
