He was always there for advice and guidance to anyone. We had a workshop on his birthday and he was there to demo and guide trainers and their dogs in the sport he loved so much Retriever Tests, that was 2 days before he and Willow left us. TEST DETAILS please read Running order will be determined by a draw; if possible handlers with more than one dog will run in non-consecutive order. Include name of handler on entry form. A running list will be available at the tests. Ducks will be used for all tests. All qualifying dogs will be awarded a rosette or ribbon. Separate entry forms must be completed for each dog and each test entered, conformation of receipt of your entry will be returned by email All handlers in the hunt test must wear dark or camouflage clothing. No white or light clothing is allowed in the working certificate test except in WCX for the blind. All dogs must be kept under control at all times. Bitches in season may NOT be entered in the WC tests or the Hunt tests. Refunds will be given upon receipt of a veterinarian certificate PRIOR to the test. Lunch will be available both days BBQ burgers and sausage, salads and desserts and beverage for $6.00 per person WC $40. WCI $45. WCX $50. ENTRY INFORMATION Entry fees: JH $50. SH $55. Listing Fee: The $9.49 (H.S.T. included) listing fee must be submitted for any dog without an individual CKC registration number or ERN number. NSF.Cheques: There will be a $35.00 charge IMPORTANT NOTE regarding Non-Member Participation Fee (effective) January 1, 2011. An annual non-member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian non-member of the CKC. The fee will match the ERN fee. In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be cancelled. These fees apply only to dogs wholly owned by non-ckc members and are not applicable to CKC members.

It shall be the duty and obligation of the club holding the test to see that this rule is effectively carried out. Excerpt from the CKC Rules & Regulations for Hunt Tests (section 2.5) 2.5.2: Electronic collars (either dummy or live) as well as prong/pinch type collars shall not be worn by a dog on the grounds of a Hunt Test at any time during the event with the exception of those collars designed to curtail barking which may be worn by a dog while kenneled.
