WD Test for Spaniels December 2, 2016 Per Ch. 1, Sec. 4 of the AKC Spaniel Hunt Test Regulations, entry priority is given to Spaniels (except the Irish Water Spaniel) and Airedales. Tests are open to all registered breeds of flushing Spaniel, Airedale, Irish Water Spaniel, and eligible breeds, as listed at akc.org, six months of age or older on the day of the Hunt Test. Standard Qualifying rosettes will be issued to all dogs receiving passing scores. Bird bands awarded to all dogs receiving passing scores. Title rosettes awarded to all dogs earning a new title. NOTES TO PARTICIPANTS Friday WD Test : Friday, December 2 at 10:30 AM at. Entry is limited to 12 Spaniels, $25, and is on a walk-up basis. CAMO ROSETTES awarded for a passing score. Not every parent club may accept scores earned at this test - contact HT Chairwoman to verify PC approval. Judges Appreciation Dinner : Friday evening at a local restaurant TBA. All are welcome to attend. Saturday & Sunday Lunch A lunch, beverage, and dessert will be available each hunt test day for the nominal fee of $8.00 per person - a bargain price for fine Southern hospitality and food! Please Note Bitches in season are not eligible to participate, nor are they allowed on the grounds. Training, severe correcting or disciplining of dogs will not be permitted on the hunt test grounds. Both AKC and CSSCG require Blaze Orange Clothing LARGER than a hat be worn when in the hunting test field. Blaze orange is not required during hunt dead and water work. We ask you turn off (or to vibrate) any cell phones. CSSCG assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury by handlers or guests, to any children, dogs, or property. Move-ups, Test Levels, Scorecards Dogs may be moved up to a higher test level (in a second event) if a title is acquired after entries have closed in the second test, subject to the approval of the Hunting Test Committee of the second event, & the availability of birds, provided that the dog is moved up at least one-half hour prior to the start of the second Test. Dogs so moved up will be placed at the end of the drawn running order. Dogs having earned a title may run at the same or lower test level, but no title lower than already earned will be awarded.
