Our Automatic pet feeder works for all sizes pets such as dogs, ferrets, pigs, deer etc. This feeder is ideal for large size dogs and pigs. It is also known as the automatic pet feeder. Our feeder has a compact and pleasing design. Can be kept anywhere at home. (Kitchen, laundry room, garage etc.) This dog feeder also comes with detachable bowl for easy cleaning. Pet food does not have to be emptied from the storage container to clean bowl. Clear storage container on this Feeder enables visibility from all angles and from farther distances. Airtight cover for storage container keeps pet food fresh in our feeder. The large opening in the food store bin of the automatic pet feeder enables easy fill of pet food. The Recommended food size for a small pet feeder is 3/8" diameter, medium feeder is 3/4" diameter and for a large feeder is 7/8" diameter. Precise feeding of food is accomplished with this feeder by using high torque synchronous motor. Unlike vertical augers in other automatic dog feeders, our dog feeder has a horizontal feed auger system, which provides precise control over feed rate. Pets cannot get more food by tapping on our feeder or clawing at it. Metal over molded self-lubricating nylon auger prevents jamming and provides a smoother and quieter performance of our feeder. Food agitator is included in large and medium feeders to prevent pet food from getting stale. Our pet feeders have stainless steel protective sheathing on the cord to prevent pets from chewing the cord. Safety interlock switch and safety basket is included in all sizes of our electronic pet feeder. UL and CUL approved. All our feeders feature digital timers with battery backup for programs, manual override switch, 8 program settings per day and daylight saving feature.

Autopetfeeder benefits: Veterinarian recommended for diabetic pets. Prevents Dogs and Cats from bloating because the food is dispensed slowly. Frequently Asked Questions These questions are from the manufacturer 1. Can I feed cats and dogs? You can feed cats, dogs, ferrets, pigs, diabetic pets and any pet that eats dry pellet food. 2.What size feeder should I purchase? The small feeder is recommended for pets who weigh less than 15 lbs. The medium feeder is recommended for pets who weigh greater than 15 lbs. and less than 40 lbs. The large feeder is recommended for pets who weigh greater than 40 lbs. 3. How much feed can I store in the feeder? You can store approximately 20 lbs of feed in the large feeder and 10 lbs. in the medium feeder and 5 lbs in the small feeder. 4. What kind of pet food can I feed in the feeder? You can feed only dry food in the feeder. The Small feeder is designed for a maximum food size of 3/8 inch (No agitator). The Medium feeder is designed for a maximum food size of 3/4 inch (With agitator). The Large feeder is designed for a maximum food size of 7/8 inch (With agitator). Dimensions listed are maximum length, width or height of food. 5. How much food does the Autopetfeeder feed? The Autopetfeeder is an electronic programmable pet food feeder. It comes in three sizes so that you can choose the feed rate for your pet. You can program the timer in one second increments and to feed your pet 8 times a day. The feed rate for the various sizes are: Large - Feed Rate 3.0 ozs per minute Medium - Feed Rate 1.5 ozs per minute Small - Feed Rate 1.5 ozs per minute Minimum time setting is in seconds. This seconds feature was particularly designed for diabetic pets who are feed very small portions multiple times per day.

6. Is the timer easy to program? The Autopetfeeder comes with a digital timer that can be easily programmed. The timer also features a manual override button if you wish to give some more food to your pet occasionally. The manual override button can also shut off the timer. The timer will remember the programs till you get back and start feeding in the same cycle when put into auto mode. The timer comes with a battery backup to retain the programs in memory. 7. Does the pet feeder get jammed? If food larger than recommended size is used, the feeder mechanism may get jammed. (See above for rec food size) 8. How does the feeder work? The feeder consists of a feed storage container and a feeder assembly housing. The electric motor that drives the feeder is controlled by a timer and you can set the amount of feed and the time of feed on the timer. 9. What happens if my pet does not eat all of the food? It's quite natural for pets to eat a little more or less each time they feed. If there is some food left over in the bowl after one feed cycle, your pet will probably eat the leftover food during the next feed cycle. The feeder will always put out a certain amount of food at a certain time of day. If you notice that your pet has leftovers in the bowl and the leftover quantity increases during every feed cycle then you have either set the time for too much feed and or your pet may be ill. You should, at that point, reduce the feed time and continue to watch your pets habits. 10. Can I leave the pet unattended with the pet feeder for 3 to 4 days? Autopetfeeder is not recommended for use for long term pet feed for unattended pets. It is intended as a modern day convenience for people with busy schedules, unforeseen situations (getting home later than expected from a party or movie) and as a convenience to the pet owner. The pet owner does not have to manually open a container, measure a predetermined amount of feed and pour it into the bowl for the pet at appropriate times of the day. This monotonous chore is taken away by Autopetfeeder.

11. How do I clean the feeder? Turn off the feeder and disconnect the timer from the wall socket. Empty the feeder of all feed. Remove the food storage bottle by holding the base with your feet and pulling up on the bottle. The bottle is not attached to base. It is a tight fit. You may then wash the bottle in a dishwasher or using soap and water. Use a damp sponge wipe the plastic body and bowl. Do not try to take apart the motor and its housing for cleaning. Do not power up the motor to clean the insides of the feed unit. Do not immerse in water to clean the feeder. The feed storage container and the bowl may be washed in running water. Allow time for all parts to dry before reusing feeder. 12.What materials are used in the construction of the Autopetfeeder? All components in the feeder are made of rubber, food grade plastic and plated steel. 13. What are the safety features available in the autopetfeeder? 1. Safety Interlock Switch: The feeders are all provided with a safety interlock switch. In the event the bottle/storage container is removed from the base, the Autopetfeeder is disabled. 2. Metal Sheeting Cover: There is no safety hazard for the pets. All moving components and housing are in an inaccessible area. The electric cord is protected by a flexible metal cover to prevent pets from chewing the cord. 3. Plastic: Food graded plastic is used for the safety of food and hence the food used will not be affected. 14. What type of food is recommended? Ergosys does not recommend any type of food. It is purely based on Veterinarian Prescription. 15. Is the Autopetfeeder UL approved? The Autopetfeeder is UL approved and the file# is 9GX3 16. what is the operating temperature / Humidity for Autopetfeeder? Operating Temperature : 50 F to 122 F (10 C to 50 C) Operating Humidity : 10% to 90% (non-condensing at ambient) 17. what is the non-operating temperature / Humidity for Autopetfeeder? Non-Operating Temperature : -22 F to 140 F (-30 C to 60 C) Non-Operating Humidity : 20% to 80% (non-condensing at ambient)
