All entries to be made in writing by FRIDAY 10 TH JUNE, 2016 (except for Perpetual Champion Cups, which are automatic entries). 4.(a) Entry of Hounds is open to Owners and Masters of Hounds of any recognised Pack of Foxhounds in the United Kingdom and Eire subscribing 35.00 or upwards to the Society. (b) Only Hounds entered, or which are eligible for entry in the Foxhound Kennel Stud Book, can be shown. (c) (d) All Hounds shown must have been bred in the kennel from which they are shown. All Hounds entered in Classes 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15 and 16 must be registered in the Foxhound Kennel Stud Book under the name of the Pack showing them. 5. Entry Fees - There are no entry fees payable in 2015. 6. Substitution - In Classes 1, 2, 6, 7, 11 and 14 Substitutions may be made. Substitutions, with full breeding details, must be handed in writing to the Office when the Huntsman is declaring the Hounds. Substitutions of entry will not be allowed in Classes 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15 and 16. The Committee would like to emphasise that if the conditions of the Substitution Ruling are not strictly complied with in 2016, it will be necessary to revert to the original NO substitution rule. 7. Classes 1, 5, 6 and 10-6 entries allowed but no more than 2 to be exhibited. Classes 2, 3, 7 and 8-3 entries allowed (i.e. 6 Hounds) only 1 couple to be exhibited. Classes 4 and 9-3 entries allowed (i.e. 12 Hounds) only 1 entry (i.e. 4 Hounds) to be exhibited. 8

Classes 11 and 14-8 entries allowed but no more than 3 to be exhibited. Classes 12 and 15-4 entries allowed but no more than 2 to be exhibited. Classes 13 and 16-6 entries allowed but no more than 2 to be exhibited. Classes 1 and 6 - In order to save judging time, Packs showing two Hounds in these Classes may exhibit both in the Ring together. One entry only by each Exhibitor for Special Prizes. Not more than two entries from previous Classes, by each Exhibitor for the Champion Cup. (Hounds competing for the Championship Cup need not have won a prize). Third Prizes will only be awarded where four entries or more compete. 8. DECLARATIONS Classes 1 to 10 - Declaration must be made at the Secretary s Office for Dog Hounds by 8.45 a.m. and for Bitch Hounds by 12.00 noon. Old English Type Foxhounds - Classes 11 to 16 - Declarations must be made at the Secretary s Office for Dog Hounds by 9.15 a.m. and for Bitch Hounds by 12.00 noon. In an emergency, Declarations for all Classes can be made on the morning of the Show by telephone: 01733 234451 or by Fax: 01733 370038 or by Email: jstaples@eastofengland.org.uk before declaration closing time. 9. No entry or part of an entry in any of the Classes which has won a First Prize or Champion Cup at a previous Peterborough Show can be shown again in the same Class. No Hound which has won a Champion Cup at a previous Show can be shown again for a Champion Cup. 10. It is a condition of entry that a Master shall not show at more than two OTHER Shows during the year. (This is a recommendation of the M.F.H. Association). 11. The Ring Steward shall have the discretion to amend the order of entry to the Ring in any Class to accommodate the prize winners of the previous Class. 12. Accommodation will be secured, if possible, for Hounds arriving the evening prior to the Show, upon notice being given to the Secretary. All Hounds entered for competition must be in their Kennels in the Showground by 9.00 a.m. on the morning of WEDNESDAY, 20 TH JULY, 2016 and remain there until the close of the Show on that day. No Hounds will be allowed in the Kennels before 7.00 a.m. and must be removed from the Kennels within one hour of the conclusion of judging. 13. Judging for the Dog Hound Classes 1 to 5 will commence punctually at 10.00 a.m. and for the Bitch Hound Classes 6 to 10 at 2.15 p.m. Old English Type Dog Hound Classes 11 to 13 at 10.30 a.m. and Bitch Hounds Classes 14 to 16 at 2.30 p.m. 14. Every Huntsman in charge of Hounds not receiving a prize or prizes to the value of 35.00 in any of the Classes will, if the Owner or Master is a Subscriber to the Funds of 35.00 or upwards, be presented with a Gratuity of 35.00. A Pack winning a special prize or prizes in the Dog Hound Classes is not eligible for the specials in the Bitch Hound Classes. 9

15. Everyone coming into the Ring with Hounds must be dressed in Hunting clothes (without Spurs). 16. The Huntsman must wear an armband showing the name of his Hunt on his right arm. 17. Prize rosettes may be worn if desired but must only be on the left arm. 18. In all cases the Gratuity to the Huntsman will be paid to the person in charge of the Hounds. 19. No responsibility will be accepted for injury to or death of a Hound, or for any injury or damage caused by a Hound whilst in the Showground. 20. Hounds should not be sent for exhibition at the Show if they are suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, nor if they have been in contact with animals suffering from such disease during the period of four weeks prior to the date of the Show. Hounds found suffering from any disease at the Show may be removed forthwith. 21. VETERINARY EXAMINATION All Hounds after being unboxed in the Hound Show Box Area must be seen by the Society s Honorary Veterinary Surgeon before proceeding to the Kennels. It is the responsibility of Huntsmen to ensure Hounds are examined. 22. The M.F.H.A. Committee have asked Masters of Packs showing at any of the recognised Shows, whose hounds develop the cough after the Show, that they should notify the M.F.H.A. Office immediately. The M.F.H.A. will then pass the information on to other Hound Shows. 10
