MOVE UP, SUBSTITUTION, REFUND POLICY Class changes: a. Lateral class changes a dog may be moved from the Breeder/Handler class to the appropriate age regulated class if the Breeder of record is unable to exhibit the dog. b. Class changes must be completed no later than one-half hour prior to the start of any regular judging on the day of the show. Moving up or moving to a lower level of competition. Any dog that has, according to the owner s records, completed the requirements for a UKC title may be at the next level of competition at the first event following the completion of requirements for the title. Refunds: Entry fee will be refunded ONLY if notified by 1 week prior to the show only with note from Veterinarian. Refunds will be mailed after the event All dogs must be individually registered with the UKC, or possess a TL (Temporary Listing) number on the day of the Show. Non-Licensed Classes Novice Puppy (3 6 mths, must have UKC reg #, TL #, or be from a UKC registered litter) Veteran (7 years and up, spayed and neutered may compete) Junior Showmanship Classes (no charge for these classes) Pee Wee over 2 years, under 4 yrs Sub-Junior 4 yrs, under 8 years Novice Junior, Open Junior 8 yrs, under 13 yrs Novice Senior, Open Senior (13 yrs, under 18 yrs) RALLY OBEDIENCE Classes offered: https://www.ukcdogs.com/docs/showforms/performance-entry.pdf The licensed Rally Obedience classes include: Rally Obedience 1 A Class. Rally Obedience 2 A Class. Rally Obedience 3 A Class Rally Obedience 1 B class. Rally Obedience 2 B Class Rally Obedience 3 B Class Rally 3 Class Size Divisions. Entries are separated into three size divisions based on the height at the withers of each individual dog exhibiting in the Rally 3 class. (The Rally 1 and Rally 2 classes are not separated by size divisions.)

Note: Total Dog/Altered Total Dog/Total Junior: Offered each day. To qualify, exhibitors need at least one conformation win and one performance qualification (from any combination of events, in this case, Rally Obedience) each day to qualify for Total Dog/Altered Total Dog/Total Junior. Wins do not carry over to the next day. Total Dog Award: To be eligible for a Total Dog award a dog must: a. On the day of the event, compete in conformation with competition and win one of the following classes: Best Male/Female of Variety, Best Male/Female, Best of Winners, Champion, Award of Merit, Reserve Champion, Grand Champion, Best of Breed, Group 1 through 4 (providing the group placement has competition), Best in Show or Reserve Best in Show. b. Earn a qualifying score in a performance event. Dogs who meet the above requirements will receive a Total Dog or Altered Total Dog award. Total Junior Award: To be eligible for a Total Junior award a junior must: a. Compete in the Novice Junior, Novice Senior, Open Junior or Open Senior class and earn a 1st-4th placement or an Award of Merit*. Award of Merit* for UKC Junior Showmanship classes will be calculated as follows: 6 Junior Handlers in competition 1 AOM 9 Junior Handlers in competition 2 AOM 12 Junior Handlers in competition 3 AOM 15 Junior Handlers in competition 4 AOM 18 Junior Handlers in competition 5 AOM 21 Junior Handlers in competition 6 AOM 24 Junior Handlers in competition 7 AOM 27 Junior Handlers in competition 8 AOM 30 Junior Handlers in competition 9 AOM 33 Junior Handlers in competition 10 AOM *Award of Merit will only be given if the individual class meets these requirements; b. The Junior must also earn a qualifying score in any one performance event on the same day the conformation requirement was earned. Qualifying performance events are Agility, Obedience, or Rally Obedience. Junior Handlers who meet the above requirements will receive a Total Junior award PRE ENTRY CLOSES NOVEMBER 2nd - $23.00 per dog DAY OF SHOW ENTRIES OFFERED - $26.00 per dog Non Licensed Classes - $5.00 per dog MAKE CHEQUES PAYABLE TO KOOLK9 SHOW SERVICES In payment of entry fees, the tendering of NSF cheques shall be considered non-payment of entry fees A collection fee of $45.00 will be added to the amount of any returned cheque. Telephone entries are not accepted by the Show Secretary. Incomplete entries or entries received without fees, or entries received after the advertised closing date will not be accepted. There will be no refund on overpayments or duplicate entries. Please mail entries early to ensure that they are received before the closing date PLEASE PRINT LEGIBLY, The Show Secretary will not be responsible for errors in your entry US exhibitors, please purchase bank drafts or money orders payable in Canadian funds for the full amount of your entry. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they must be payable in US funds for the full amount of the entry. Please do not mark cheques payable in Canadian Funds or at par as such items are not cleared through the bank and will be returned with your entry. Thank you.

By entering this show/trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport. 2. Absolutely no consumption of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs will be allowed on the grounds or in the buildings during a UKC Licensed event. 3. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Event Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In that case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. 4. Harbour City Dog Fanciers, Beban Park Centennial Building, their agents, and their employees assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by spectators or by exhibitors, or to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children not under the control of their parents or guardians. Parents are required to supervise their children on the show grounds. Harbour City Dog Fanciers, and Beban Park Centennial Bldg are not responsible for loss, accidents or theft. 5. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. 6. Exhibitors and dog owners are expected and required to clean up after their own dogs. Any person witnessing a violation of this rule must report it to the Event Committee. The Event Committee may ask any person violating this rule to leave the event grounds. No refund will be made if an exhibitor is asked to leave the grounds. 7. UKC will vigorously support any hotel that files a complaint about exhibitors who fail to keep their dogs quiet or to clean up after them. In order that the bad conduct of a few exhibitors does not spoil it for the many responsible exhibitors, UKC will take strong disciplinary action against any offenders. 8. UKC encourages exhibitors to present their dogs with the least amount of grooming necessary to enable a Judge to properly compare each dog with the standard of its breed. Dogs should be clean, with nails cut to a length suitable for the dog to perform the work for which it was bred, and with clean teeth. The Judge s determination that this rule has been violated shall be final. UKC enforces rules against artificially altering pigment and coat color, coat texture, and surgical alterations as outlined in the UKC Rules and Regulations. 9. Dogs may not be left unattended when crated in soft mesh crates or exercise pens. No dog may be left in an unlatched or unzipped crate. 10. Except when being judged or when crated, dogs must be kept on leash. 11. There are to be no exercise pens in the arena. 12. Large floor mats will not be allowed in the building. 13. All exhibitors are expected to abide by the UKC Rules and Regulations and to cooperate with grounds staff, stewards and club members of the host clubs.
