By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by the action of the Trial Committee. This club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry form for this event. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the Trial site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. NO ENTRY FEE WILL BE REFUNDED in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. Bitches that come in season after the closing of entries will be allowed a refund, minus $10 for the weekend, provided the Trial Secretary has written notice prior to the trial, by Wednesday August 8, 2018. The Trial will be open from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm both Saturday and Sunday, August 11 & 12, 2018. Consult Judging Program for time of judging. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. JUDGES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WAIT FOR DOGS. Owners or Agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged. Only dogs that are eligible to be shown under the American Kennel Club rules are allowed within the show site. Dogs NOT entered in the trial are not permitted on the show site. MOVE-UPS (Apply to both regular Obedience & Rally Obedience): After a dog earns a title, it may be moved up to the next class in a future trial even though the closing date for the trial has passed. This move-up may be requested if, according to the owner s records, the dog has completed the requirements for the title after the closing date of the trial in which the advanced entry is to be made. Move-ups may be approved, provided the next level class and the judge is available and the class has not reached its limit. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS Misconduct at hotels may result in an Event Committee hearing. No dogs allowed in the show rings for practice at any time. Please bring crates that are stackable as crating space is limited. No x-pens are allowed inside the building. Crating is limited and exhibitors are asked to abide by the rules for the spaces allowed. Parking ONLY on the NORTH and WEST sides of our building (2101 Logan St). Do NOT park or you WILL BE TOWED! USDTC assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, visitors or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. The welfare of children is the responsibility of the parents or guardian. They must exercise control and restraint over their children at all times. Any and all damages caused by the exhibitor, exhibitor s dogs or children will be the sole responsibility of the exhibitors. REMINDER TO ALL SMOKERS: All buildings at the dog club are SMOKE-FREE BUILDINGS. We ask exhibitors not to bring X-pens as there is limited crating space inside the building. Stackable crates are requested to be used. There is an exercise area in the front of the building to the right as you walk out the front door. Please clean up after your own dogs. No dogs are to be loose on the trial site for any reason unless they are performing in the ring. This will be enforced for all exhibitors. **There will be no practicing in the rings at any time until the close of the trials on Sunday, August 12th, 2018. Instructor Class Card(s) may be used towards entry fee(s). Value given is $35.00 for full un-used Instructor card & $17.00 for an un-used Assistant Instructor ½ card.
