Youth Contests Youth breed ID competition- Enter day of show Costume Contest- (Adults can participate also!) There will be a Best Dressed Rabbit Contest for all youth exhibitors. Categories will be Most Original, Most Outrageous, & Best Character (movie, cartoon, storybook, or comic). The top winner from each will move on to compete for Best Dressed. Every participant gets an award. No fee, but donations are welcome! Showmanship: (rabbit and cavy will be combined) Enter day of show Cost of entry for showmanship is $3.00 (at least one animal must be exhibited in show by participant in order to enter showmanship). CLASSES: 1. Pee Wee - 5 years thru 8 years 2. Junior - 9 years through 8th grade 3. Substitutions (ear changes only) must be made at the show secretary s table by 8:00 a.m. Limit of 4 ear changes per show at no charge. Ear changes over 4, will be charged $1.00 per change per show. No changes will be allowed at the table. All changes must have the show secretary s initials/signature to be valid. >Rabbits entered in fur MUST ALSO be entered in the regular show in their respective breed classes. >PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: KCRBA >E-mail entries will be accepted and confirmation will be given. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact the secretary. Any email entries made must be paid for even if you do not attend the show. >No late entries will be accepted. No day of show entries or add-ons. >If "Open or Youth" is not stated on the entry form, entry will automatically be placed in OPEN. Entries will NOT be moved from OPEN to YOUTH the day of the show - NO exceptions. >A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks. All fees owed must be paid prior to the start of the show!

Raffle Don t forget the KCRBA Raffle we are planning a wonderful assortment of raffle items. Please stop by and take a look - you could be the winner of a great prize! Please remember that rabbits and cavies donated to the raffle must be free from disqualifications and have a signed slip from our official registrar. Slips will be available at the raffle booth. Show Rules 1. All rabbits must have a permanent, LEGIBLE, ear tattoo in the animal s left ear. This rule will be STRICTLY enforced. Any sick animal must be removed. 2. Exhibitors are responsible for getting their animals to and from the judging tables. No class will be re-judged due to late or missing animals, per ARBA Show Rules. No refunds will be given for missed classes for any reason. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! 3. All animals are entered at the owner s risk. Show personnel and judges are not responsible for injury or loss of animals. All precautions will be taken to prevent injury to all animals. 4. The show committee reserves the right to substitute or add judges as necessary. 5. Absolutely NO animals other than rabbits or cavies, with the exception of service animals, will be permitted in the show room. 6. Absolutely NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES and NO SMOKING will be allowed in the building. 7. Show room etiquette will be strictly enforced. Violators will have an elimination of their entries and forfeiture of their entire entry fee. 8. PARENTS OR GUARDIANS MUST CONTROL THEIR CHILDREN. You will be held responsible for any damage to the Kern County Fairgrounds, equipment & grounds. ABSOLUTELY NO SKATEBOARDS, ROLLERBLADES, BICYCLES OR SCOOTERS ON THE GROUNDS. 9. No sale of merchandise (other than animals) will be allowed in the showroom unless booth space has been arranged for and paid. Sale rabbits must fit in the space allotted for your entries. 10. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to pick up remark cards when removing animals from the judging table. ALL awards MUST be picked up the day of the show, they WILL NOT be mailed. LEGS WILL BE EMAILED WITH THE SHOW REPORT. 11. Judges decisions are FINAL. Entries may be withdrawn from competition by the committee and/ or judges at their discretion, and entry fee forfeited for interference with the judging process. Indicating ownership of an exhibit will be considered interference. 12. No one will be allowed behind the judging table without the permission of the table ramrod or clerk. 13. Failure to adhere to the above stated rules or those of the ARBA will be grounds for forfeiture of your entire entry. 14. Any discrepancies with the show rules listed here or those of the ARBA will be decided by the KCRBA Show Committee Officials and judgments made will be final. 15. Animals must be kept in standard carriers with solid bottoms. NO PLAYPENS! 16. No changes will be allowed at the table without the show secretary s approval and initials/ signature or the rabbit will be disqualified.
