Each day animals are left in ur care. Many are lst animals fund wandering the streets while till thers are surrendered by their wners fr a variety f reasn. N matter the reasn why they cme t us, many f these animals need temprary hmes until they are ready t be placed up fr adptin. Fster hmes are essentially an extensin f ur sheltering space, when an animal ges ut t a fster hme, it pens a space in the shelter this increases the number f animals we take in withut the need fr extra space The less animals wh are hused in the shelter the better. This is because the higher number f animals hused in a shelter space the higher risk f diseases amng thse animals. The shelter can be a very stressful envirnment fr many animals, putting them at higher risk fr disease as well. Fstering can help animals adapt and be ready fr a hme envirnment it gives them a chance t wrk ut any behaviral issues ahead f time Mst animals wh g ut t fster are t yung r t small t be ut in the wrld n their wn. Fstering gives them a safe envirnment t grw t be ready fr adptin. Sme animals are abused r just aren t used t peple. Fstering helps with that t! Many animals wh are in need f medical care r have injuries heal faster, and with less stress at hme.
