CONFORMATION CLASSES The following Regular CKC Classes (divided by sex) will be offered: JUNIOR PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 6 months of age and under 9 months of age on the day of the show SENIOR PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 9 months of age and under 12 months of age on the day of the show 12 to 15 MONTH CLASS This class shall be for any dog 12 months but under 15 months of age on the day of the show. 15 to 18 MONTH CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 15 months but under 18 months of age on the day of the show CANADIAN BRED CLASS - This class shall be for any dog born in Canada. (Champions of any country excluded) BRED BY EXHIBITOR CLASS - This class shall be for any dog owned and handled in the ring by owner/breeder. The handler MUST be the owner/co- owner AND breeder/co-breeder of the dog. The owner/breeder must handle the dog at the class level, but need not handle the dog for further awards OPEN CLASS - This class shall be for all dogs VETERANS CLASS - This class is for dogs 7 years to 10 years of age and 10+ years of age on the day of the show. Dogs entered in this class may be spayed or neutered. FIELD CLASS - Dogs entered in this class must have attained a title or placement in a field trial or test. This class is to be judged prior to Best of Breed judging and the winners in each sex will compete for Best of Breed. Dogs entered in these classes may be spayed or neutered. SPECIALS ONLY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog that has a recorded CKC Registration or Event Registration Number and has attained the required points for Championship status. Note: A Listed dog may be moved to the Specials Only Class after the closing of entries, provided the CKC Individual or Event Registration Number was received prior to the first day of the show. The request to move a class dog to the Specials Only Class MUST be received by the Show Secretary ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE OPENING OF THE SHOW ON THE DAY CONCERNED. Listing Fees WILL NOT be refunded NON-REGULAR CLASSES EXHIBITION ONLY - All dogs entered in this class shall be listed in the catalogue with the same particulars as dogs entered in regular competition. Dogs entered in this class MAY NOT COMPETE in any Regular class but may enter and compete in Non-Regular classes and/or Parades ONLY STUD DOG & GET - This class is for a stud dog and 2 or more of his get. Ownership need not be identical. The stud dog may be spayed/neutered and must be entered in a regular class or in exhibition only. Get must be entered in a regular class BROOD BITCH & PROGENY - This class has the same requirements as the Stud Dog and Get BRACE - This class is for 2 dogs of the same breed (not necessarily the same sex). A brace must be handled by one person on one lead.

Exhibitors whose charges are declined by the Bank Card Authorization Department will be assessed a service charge of $25.00 for each transaction declined. Telephone entries are not accepted by the Show Secretary. Incomplete entries or entries received without fees, or entries received after the advertised closing date will not be accepted. Attention foreign exhibitors, please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian Funds. If you sent a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Please DO NOT make cheques Payable in Canadian Funds or At Par. They will not be cleared by the banks. To simplify the process, we urge that you purchase bank drafts or money orders payable in Canadian Funds.

SWEEPSTAKES - Saturday, July 21 st, 2018 Preceding Regular Conformation Classes Judge: Janine Starink Juvenile Sweepstakes Juvenile Sweepstakes is open to all Vizsla puppies six months and under eighteen months of age regardless of place of birth. All dogs must be entered in one of the regular official classes on the same day. Dogs will be judged in one of the following six classes (divided by sex): 6 months and under 9 months 9 months and under 12 months 12 months and under 18 months For final judging the first place puppy from each of the classes will be brought together for the final judging of Best in Sweepstakes. Best in Sweepstakes - rosette & 50% of total fees collected for the Juvenile Sweepstakes Runner Up in Sweepstakes - rosette & 25% of total fees collected for the Juvenile Sweepstakes 1 st in each class - rosette 25% of fees collected will be retained by the club to defray costs **************************************************************************************************** Veteran Sweepstakes Judge: Janine Starink ~ following the judging of the Juvenile Sweepstakes Veteran Sweepstakes is open to all Vizsla dogs 7 years of age and over and entered in a regular class or for exhibition only on the same day. CLUB RULES: No generators are to be run before 6:30 am or after 10:30 pm. No tents, canopies, grooming tables or set ups within 25 feet of the show rings. Exhibitors will be responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Violators will be asked to leave the show grounds. Dogs are not permitted to be exercised off leash on any of the Hazelmere grounds at any time. There will be no access to the show grounds, except for committee members until 2:00 Thursday, July 19 th, 2018. The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen property from exhibitors or venders/concessions. The Club will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of accident or misfortune to either dogs, exhibitors, spectators or vendors.

GENERAL RULES GOVERNING THESE SHOWS It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to be familiar with the rules pertaining to the event in which they are competing. Copies of the Conformation Rule book are available from: The CKC, 400 200 Ronson Dr., Etobicoke, ON M9W 5Z9 or online at www.ckc.ca 1. The Club reserves the right to remove any person from the show. The Show Superintendent shall have full control of the above shows and trials, which will be governed by CKC rules. 2. Any dog excused by the Show Superintendent or the Show Veterinarian for any reason shall not, after being excused, compete in any class for any award for the balance of the show. 3. The show committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of accident, or other misfortune, to either dogs, exhibitors or patrons. 4. A Judge or any person participating in any capacity at a Dog Show held under CKC Rules shall not be subjected to any indignity of any kind during the progress of the show and it shall be the duty and obligation of the Club holding the show to see that this rule is effectively carried out. The Show Superintendent shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of the rules, and the Discipline Committee shall have the power to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this rule has been violated. 5. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the conduct or actions of their animals while they are on the show grounds. 6. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. The Club will not be responsible for and is not obligated to provide any service for notifying owners or agents of breed or class judging. No ring shall be held up waiting for exhibitors or handlers. Exhibitors & Handlers with more than one dog shall have substitute handlers available so the judging will not be delayed. All start times are PACIFIC DAYLIGHT TIME. 7. The owner of a dog entered in these shows is entirely responsible for any error in entering his/her dog, regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. 8. A dog once disqualified for any reason at a championship show held under these rules cannot again be shown at a show held under these rules until the dog has been examined by an official committee appointed by the CKC and the committee finds the dog is free from the condition which prompted the disqualification. Application for reinstatement must be accompanied by a fee of $50.00 plus GST which shall be forfeited to the CKC if the examining committee is satisfied that the dog should remain disqualified. All awards earned at a dog show in violation of this rule shall be canceled by the CKC and the owner of the dog is subject to disciplinary action. 9. Exhibitors and handlers will be responsible for their dogs and for their equipment left at the Show Grounds. 10. For the benefit of the health of animals and the pleasure of the exhibitors and spectators we insist upon keeping our grounds and buildings as clean as possible. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Please exercise your dog BEFORE taking it to the Judging ring. Dogs are to be exercised in the designated areas only, not in the vicinity of the ring areas. 11. No entry fee will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, and Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club. 12. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB SCHEDULE OF CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SECTION 2. The schedule to be employed in the determination of the number of points to be allocated to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as follows: (*Includes the dog awarded Winners.) Dogs Competing* 1 2 3 to 5 6 to 9 10 to 12 13 or more Points Allocated* 0 1 2 3 4 5 To determine the number of championship points earned by a dog awarded Winners, total all the dogs in competition which the dog defeated, directly or indirectly, for the highest of the following official breed awards: Winners, Best of Winners, Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex and then consult the schedule set forth above. A dog that is disqualified, dismissed, excused or ordered from the ring by the judge shall not be included in the calculation for championship points. Further section 15.1.12 {C} has been added and states the dog must: have earned at least one 2 point win either at the breed level or group level. The system provides for additional points if a dog awarded winners also places in the Group as listed here under. In no case may a dog earn more than five (5) points at a single show. To earn a Canadian Championship, a dog must earn at least ten championship points under at least three different judges; and be individually registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, or have a CKC Event Registration Number (ERN).

AGREEMENT I (we) acknowledge that I (we), all exhibitors, handlers and patrons, know and abide by the CKC Dog Show Rules, and that I am (we are) familiar with their content. I (we) agree that the Club holding this show has the right to refuse this entry for cause, which the Club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the Show and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the Vizsla Canada, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of a dog while in or upon the show premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim, and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of a dog by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the Club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this show, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused and whether or not the same may have been caused and whether or not the same may have alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other person.
