IMPORTANT - ADVICE TO EXHIBITORS CAGES: Due to the size of the hall, OWN CAGES WILL BE ALLOWED BUT PLEASE STICK TO THE REGULATION SIZE as space is very limited and Total Cage numbers are limited to 180 SMOKING REGULATIONS: Due to the fact that our new hall is a government school, and we must sign an agreement with the School to use their hall, WE ARE FORCED TO ABIDE with the regulations within the agreement. THERE IS NO SMOKING ALLOWED WITHIN THE SCHOOL GROUNDS. We respectfully request exhibitors and show personnel, if they wish to smoke, to please do so outside the school grounds and please do not throw butts on the footpath or on the street. PAYMENT OF ENTRIES: It is our Club policy that entries will be processed only when payment accompanies the entry. Entries received minus the payment or without copy of EFT receipt will be held until payment is received by the Show Processor. We do not collect cash payments on the day of the show. PARKING: CATERING: All parking is street parking only. We will endeavour to have a club member present at the gate to keep an eye on your belongings while you park your car. South Wallsend Scouts will conduct a sausage sizzle for lunch and egg & bacon roll for breakfast. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. Membership Status: All exhibitors resident in NSW must be current financial members of NSWCFA Inc., Cats NSW, or ANCATS. New exhibitors resident in NSW may show 3 times as non-members provided their exhibits are registered in their name with NSWCFA Inc. An exhibitor resident in another state must be a member of a controlling body recognised by CCCA or ACF and the exhibits must be registered in the exhibitors name with that controlling body. 2. Entries: All entries must be submitted on the official NSWCFA Entry Form together with a clear copy of each exhibit s registration certificate in the name of the exhibitor as owner. For interstate exhibitors where the registration certificate does not include a 4 generation pedigree, then a 4 generation pedigree must be provided showing the breeds and colours of all forebears. 3. Vaccination of Kittens: All kittens must be vaccinated. Exhibitors must produce documentary evidence (valid vaccination certificate) for each kitten exhibit and a vaccination shall have been carried out not less than 14 days prior to the date of the show. See Show Procedure 6.2 4. Veterinary Inspection: Each exhibit must be inspected by and pass the Veterinary Officer s examination before being allowed to be benched in the show. Exhibitors are to handle their own cats at the vetting table. 5. Amendments to Sex/Colour/Titles: Any changes to the sex, colour/pattern, or title of an exhibit after an entry has been lodged must be submitted in writing to the Show Processor with a copy of the amended Certificate of Registration.not less than 1week of the Show Date. See Show Procedure 5.11 6. All cats must be entered in an Open Class. 7. All kittens must be entered in an Age Class. 8. All exhibits must have their front and back claws clipped. 9. All exhibits must remain within the show hall until close of show.4.00pm 10. All ribbons, rosettes, cards and prizes placed on the cage are the responsibility of the exhibitor and will not be replaced should they go missing. 11. Show entry fees must be paid with the entry. Fees are not refunded for exhibits which are not shown. Entry fees are only refundable when an exhibit is withdrawn in writing prior to the advertised closing date of the show (Friday, 27 th July 2018 ). A judge or an exhibitor shall not be required to pay an entry fee for a ring where an exhibit is ineligible. 12. Receipt and confirmation of entries will only be acknowledged if a stamped, self-addressed envelope is forwarded with your Show Entry. 13. Aggressive Exhibits: A Judge or Steward is not required to handle any exhibit showing signs of aggression. Owners have a duty of care not to bench an exhibit that has a reported history of fractious behaviour. Show Manager and Show Committee in consultation with the Show Representative may require the removal of any such exhibit from the show. 14. Returned Cheques: Should any cheque be returned to the club unpaid, a money order, cash or a bank cheque will be required immediately to ensure the entry is accepted. Any cost incurred by the Club shall be paid by the exhibitor before the entry is processed. 15. Cancellations: We ask your co-operation in notifying the Show Processor (Julie Fitzhenry 0412 044 728) of cancellations before Thursday, 16 August, 2018 16. NSWCFA Inc Members Kitten/Cat of the Year Awards To be eligible for Cat of the Year awards, an exhibit must be in the continuous ownership of a financial member throughout the year. Points are awarded based on the Top Five results at a show. 1 st 10 pts; 2 nd 7 pts; 3 rd 4 pts; 4 th 2 pts; 5 th 1 pt. Note 1: Where an owner becomes a member after the start of a calendar year, points will only accumulate from the date the membership application is processed by the office. Note 2: If during the year a cat is transferred to a new owner who is not a member, the cat s ownership by a financial member will be deemed continuous provided a membership application from the new owner is received and recorded by the office within 4 weeks of the date of transfer, otherwise Note 1 shall apply. 7
