First in Flight ASC ASCA Rally and Obedience Trials (ASCA sanctioned) April 15 & 16, 2017 Winston-Salem Dog Training Club Building 3800 Bethania Station Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27116 Indoors, Air Conditioned, Rubber Horse matting 2 Rally trials each day Earn a title in a weekend! 2 Obedience trials on Saturday Entries open Wednesday March 7, 2017 Pre-entries close Wednesday April 12, 2017 Pre-entry is highly encouraged **Rally trials limited to 35 runs per trial** **Obedience trials limited to 10 runs per trial** Day of show entries accepted if trial is not filled. Is ASCA Rally and Obedience just for Aussies?- ASCA Rally and Obedience (as well as Agility) are open to all breeds and mixes. There is also a Junior Handlers program. Does my dog have to be ASCA registered?- Yes, your dog must have an ASCA registration number or QT number to enter the trial. An application for an ASCA QT number is included in this premium. There is a one time fee for the QT number which is good for the life time of the dog. QT number applications may be submitted with entry to the trial. At what level can I start?- All dogs must start at the Novice level. If your dog has earned any previous Obedience or Rally title, it must start in the B class. Do I have to move up in Rally if the dog has finished its title?- No, you may continue to trial at that same level once the dog has finished the title in the C class. See the ASCA Rally rules for more details. What is the ODX class in ASCA obedience? ODX is an alternative to Open without the out of sight stays, beginning 6/1/13. See the ASCA website for more information: http://www.asca.org/programs/obedience/odx Is my dog eligible for Beginner Novice? Please note that the rules for the new ASCA Beginner Novice Class state that you may enter any dog that has does not have a CDX or ODX or above from any registry in the Beginner Novice class. Dogs that have earned a CDX/ODX or above may NOT enter this class at all. Dogs that wish to enter the Beginner Novice class MAY also enter either the Novice class or any other alternate titling class they are eligible for at the same trial. This differs from the rules for the class in AKC.
