CLARK COUNTY BEEF, SHEEP, GOAT & SWINE PROSPECT SHOW Clark County Fairgrounds, Clark, S.D. Saturday, June 16, 2018 General Rules & Information All market steers, breeding heifers, market lambs, market meat goats (market does, market wethers, breeding does) & market swine are eligible. The Clark County Prospect Show is South Dakota Junior Point Show (SDJPS) Sanctioned and follows the sanctioning rules. Pre-registration fees (saves $10 per head!): $30.00 per calf, $20.00 per lamb, swine and goat. Pre-Registration forms available. Day of show Entry Fees: $40.00 per calf, $30.00 per lamb, swine and goat. Entry fees will be collected during weigh-in and check-in. Beef, sheep & goats must be able to lead and tie. Market gilts and barrows will be classified as crossbred or purebred in their divisions. All calves, lambs, goats & swine must be accompanied by current health certificate. All decisions of the Show Committee and Judge will be final. Show Committee will not be responsible for accidents. Everyone provides their own bedding. Bedding must be cleaned up or premium will be forfeited. Portable generators are encouraged. In case of rain do have indoor facilities. Facilities will be available on Friday night for stalling livestock at your own risk. Camping hook-up is available. Electric only $20/day contact Extension Office Heifers must be vaccinated for Brucellosis. Fitting is optional, 4-H Fitting Rules apply. (NO UNETHICAL PRACTICES) Beef, sheep, goats, & swine will be shown under the SDJP show rules No 2 nd call- you need to be at the show ring on time. Once gate closes you missed your class. Awards: Following SDJPS rules, the top 5 are chosen for each show (except for Market Goats). Awards are given to Overall Champ & Reserve Champ.
