BUILDING & GROUNDS REPORT SPRING CLEAN-UP HAS COME AND GONE AND SO HAVE THE LEAVES, STICKS, BRANCHES, WEEDS AND DEBRIS OF WINTER. GONE BECAUSE OF THE GOOD CREW OF CLUB VOLUNTEERS THAT SHOWED UP FOR THE YEARLY JOB. THE FLOWER GARDENS WERE WEEDED AND READY FOR FLOWERS. DIFFICULT STUBBORN WINDOWS FINALLY WERE ABLE TO BE REMOVED & CLEANED INSIDE AND OUT. FIVE ACRES OF CHAIN-LINK FENCING IS SO WELL MAINTAINED THAT OUR CLUB GROUNDS LOOK BETTER THAN MANY CITY PARKS. HARD WORK, GREAT COMMORADRIE & DELICIOUS FOOD IS THE MIX THAT MADE IT ALL HAPPEN. [GOOD WEATHER ALSO HELPED!] A HUGH THANKS TO THE SPRING CLEAN-UP OF 2012: MAX ARTIMECEK, HANS BAUMANN, DAWN BAUMANN, PAULETTE GALLATIN, SHARON GOLDEN, CHRIS HESSELTINE, LEIGH KRUCK, CAMILLE LABINSKI, RON LABINSKI, MIKE LOS, LYLE LUBENOW, CAROL LUMLEY, VICKI McCUTCHEON, MELISSA PALFERY, MARY PLUTA ALEXIS RADTKE, TYLER RADTKE, SANDY RADTKE, DENNIS SMEISKA, SECALY STREHLOW, ANDY SZYMASZEK. A SPECIAL THANKS FOR AN UNUSUAL JOB THE FENCE AROUND THE EXECISE AREA WAS TOO HIGH OFF THE GROUND AND PRESENTED A HAZARD FOR DOGS AND PUPS. MIKE LOS & LYLE LUBENOW LOWERED THE ENTIRE FENCE. IT IS NOW FIXED AND SAFE. THANKS GUYS. NOW IF ONLY SOMEONE WOULD CLEAN OUT THE GARAGE!!!!! RON LABINSKI.BUILDING & GROUNDS

REPORT ON PERSHING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HI-INTEREST DAYS ARE LONG [7:30 3:30] BUT IT IS ALWAYS WELL WORTH IT. WE HAD 12 DOGS---11 GERMAN SHEPHERDS AND 1 HONORARY G.S. WITH ALL LEVELS REPRESENTED FROM BEGINNERS TO ADVANCED. WITH THAT VARIETY WE COULD SHOW THE KIDS HOW TRAINING BEGINS AND THAT IT TAKES TIME AND PATIENCE. THE KIDS VOLUNTEERED AS WEAVING POSTS-----OH TO SEE THEIR FACES!!! THEY ALSO LEARNED HOW TO ACT AROUND DOGS AND THE VERSATILITY OF THE GERMAN SHEPHERD. THERE WAS A LOT OF LAUGHER WHEN A DOG GOT CAUGHT IN THE AGILITY CHUTE AND WHEN THE DOGS PERFORMED SOME TRICKS. IT WAS NICE TO HAVE THE SCHOOL S COORDINATOR MICHELLE PIPAL TO BE WITH US. THEY PROVIDED A NICE LUNCH AND PRESENTED US WITH A $150.00 CHECK FOR THE CLUB AND IN ADDITION MICHELLE & DAN PIPAL ADDED A PERSONAL CHECK FOR $50.00 A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO WERE THERE: DIANE STEFONICH WITH KAI JOE CAPUTA WITH FRANKIE NANCY BERTSCH WITH MACY & ROXIE RON LABINSKI WITH SPRECHER PAULETTE GALLATIN WITH TAVA JUNIOR GENTINE WITH APOLLO DOTTIE RENIER WITH LUCY DONNA RICKERT WITH KODA CAMILLE LABINSKI WITH BELLA PHYLLIS GRIFFIN WITH STREICHER DAN PIPAL WITH KALI THANKS------CAMILLE & JOE
