DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER The event is by invitation only. To be invited to participate, each dog must be ranked in the top 25 dogs by OTCH points or ranked in the top 3 of its breed by OTCH points. If there are more than thirty (30) dogs that qualify in a specific breed, then we will take a ratio of the total and invite that amount. In addition, the top 4 dogs from each of the Obedience Regional Events will be invited based on the qualification criteria as written in the Obedience Regulations, Chapter 13, Section 2. AKC Regional Competitions. Dogs must meet the minimum entry requirements in order to participate at this event and must also meet the eligibility requirements specified in the Obedience Regulations. EXHIBITOR AND DOG HISTORY FORM Exhibitors should submit their Exhibitor and Dog History information online at the link below as soon as possible. This information may be read during the dog s run at the event by the announcer. Please include any fun facts that you would like to share, but limit this to 100 words or less. If an exhibitor does not have access to a computer, a paper form is available at the back of this information booklet. To assist our announcer at the event, if you or your dog's name is spelled unusually, please spell it out phonetically in the fun facts section to assist us with pronunciation. Each dog shall be allocated ONE 3 foot by 5 foot space. Exhibitors will be allowed in the crating area after they have completed Exhibitor Check-In on Friday or Saturday. Due to limited space, no un-entered dogs will be allowed in the building. No X-Pens will be allowed. A crate is defined as having a top, bottom and 4 walls, all interconnecting, thus preventing the dog from escaping. ADDITIONAL SITE INFORMATION A full service food concession is available on the site. The American Kennel Club and the Orange County Convention Center will not be responsible for any lost or damaged items left at the show site. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s). Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Event Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. Cleaning supplies and disposal sites will be available at various locations around the show grounds. Dogs may not be on retractable leads, or long-lines while inside the buildings at the Orange County Convention Center. No dogs are permitted to be crated or groomed on any carpeted area.

PUBLICATION RIGHTS PHOTOGRAPHS & VIDEOS By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all rights to televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or the persons or animals participating in it or the results of the competition before, during or after the event, shall belong solely to Eukanuba and The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, including the use of the names, likenesses or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the show and no such owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of any videotape or photograph of any person or animal participating in this competition. NOTE: By entering this show all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree to make themselves available for interview if requested. Exhibitors may video tape individual runs only for personal use. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS DOGS PARTICIPATING. The event is by invitation only. DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, no un-entered dogs will be allowed in the facility. Additionally, no ex-pens will be allowed in the facility. Each entered dog will receive one assigned crating space. ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of Event Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the trial, no refund of entry fees will be made. ENTRY FEES FOR BITCHES IN SEASON will be refunded if the Trial Secretary is notified in writing by Friday, December 14, 2012 @ 4:00 p.m. EST. Vet statements should be provided to the Trial Secretary in writing to receive a refund. After December 14, 2012, entry fees will not be refunded for bitches in season. REFUNDS for cancellation of entries must be received by Friday, October 12, 2012 @ 4:00 p.m. EST. A refund of will be issued within 30 days after the event. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. No entry fee will be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by the action of the Event Committee. ON-LEASH. Dogs must be on leash at all time on event grounds except when in the ring or when in the designated obedience warm-up area. JUDGES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WAIT FOR DOGS. The owner/handler of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when it is to be judged. The club has no responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. SPECIAL TRAINING COLLARS ARE PROHIBITED LEADS. Dogs may not be on retractable leads or long-lines while inside the buildings at the Orange County Convention Center. WARM-UP RING. A warm-up ring will be provided for dogs entered in the NOI and the National Juniors Obedience Competition, in accordance with the Obedience Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 33. This ring will be monitored, should there be any problems the ring will be closed. Exhibitors using the warm-up ring should be respectful of other exhibitors and their need to warm-up a dog. SAFETY, BEHAVIOR and LIABILITY. The safety of the dog is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Event Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. The American Kennel Club and its agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. The American Kennel Club reserves the right to decline entries for cause and may remove any dog on account of aggression. No one shall have any recourse or claim against the American Kennel Club or any official thereof. All dogs must be on leash at all times when on trial grounds except when in the designated warm-up area or competing on the course. This club does agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC Entry Form for this event.

The North/South Building parking lot can be accessed by turning right at the South Concourse sign or continuing north on International Drive and turning right onto Convention Way and following to Universal Boulevard, turn right onto Universal Boulevard. From Daytona Beach or Downtown Orlando (NORTHEAST) 1. Take Interstate 4 west to the SR 528 exit (Exit 72) 2. Travel east on SR 528 to exit 1 (International Drive) 3. North (right) approximately one mile to Convention Center 4. From International Drive, the West Building parking lot can be accessed by turning left at either Convention Way (south entrance) or Exhibit Drive (north entrance). From Westwood Boulevard, the west entrance is accessible via West Entrance Drive. 5.
