THIRD ANNUAL CHARITY TRIAL TO BENEFIT THE McLINDON FAMILY FOUNDATION CLASSES OFFERED AND RUNNING ORDER Friday All Levels of Standard All Levels of Jumpers Premier Standard & Premier JWW Order for all above classes will be Premier Jumpers, Excellent/Master JWWs, Open JWW, Novice JWW, Premier Standard, Excellent/Master Standard, Open Standard and Novice Standard *Regular and Preferred classes will run concurrently. The McLindon Family Foundation provides adaptive bikes to special needs children. The foundation started in 2008 when they donated their first adaptive bike to a young boy with hydrocephalus, who desperately wanted a bike of his own just like every child. Since then, they have rallied a network of extended family, great friends, dedicated therapists, compassionate donors and people just you to give away 105 bikes in nine states. Providing these adaptive bikes provides so much to these special needs children: Strength Many of the children who receive these adaptive bikes spend time in physical and occupational therapy doing all the things asked of them. Many parents and therapists report that the few minutes they get to ride a bike in therapy, their treat for working hard at all the other parts, is their favorite time. The children do not necessarily view the bike riding as therapeutic, but it is. When the children are able to get their own bike to take home it opens up the opportunity for hours of additional exercise, building key muscles, core strength and coordination skills. Some parents have reported that in the months after getting a bike, their child has made significant developmental progress. Confidence Success is defined differently for each child. For some children success may be measured as one rotation of the pedals, for others it may be making it to the end of the driveway or even a lap around the block. But some children, after mastering their adaptive bikes and growing their physical strength, have started to participate in competitive events and even triathlons. However far a child may power his bike, we have seen numerous instances of these children building confidence and beginning to expand into other activities such as wheelchair basketball, tennis and dancing. These bikes instill a sense of confidence and accomplishment in these children, and push them to expand their communities. Inclusion No one wants to be left out. No one. Rather than sitting on the sidelines and watching brothers, sisters and friends tooling around on their bikes, recipients of McLindon Family Foundation bikes are able to join in the fun. These bikes help the children to build social skills, friendships, and life long memories for themselves and their families. http://www.mclindonfamilyfoundation.org/ Saturday Sunday All Levels of Fast All Levels of Standard All Levels of JWW Order for all above classes will be Excellent/Master Fast, Open Fast, Novice Fast, Excellent/Master Standard, Open Standard, Novice Standard, Excellent/Master JWW, Open JWW, Novice JWW *Regular and Preferred classes will run concurrently. The walk-through is restricted to handlers entered in that class only. Handlers with multiple dogs, at events with multiple rings may request to walk with a height group other than the one their dog is entered in if a conflict is imminent. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump, may be provided for exhibitors. The warm-up area is to be used exclusively for warming up the dog and not for training or relieving of the dog. RIBBONS, AWARDS, AND PRIZES Ribbons will be awarded in each jump height division in each class as follows: First Place..........Blue Second Place..... Red Third Place..... Yellow Fourth Place..... White Qualifying Score....... Dark Green A New Title rosette will be awarded to all dog and handler teams finishing a title. A MACH, PACH or PAX rosette and MACH/PACH/PAX bar will be awarded to all dog and handler teams that attain their MACH, PACH or PAX. A dog toy or dog related item (value $1 - $3) will be given to each dog entered (one toy per dog for the weekend). Double Q and Triple Q Ribbons will also be available for teams with qualifying scores. See below for additional prizes! All exhibitors should obtain a copy of the Regulations for Agility Trials by contacting the American Kennel Club, 5580 Centerview Dr., Raleigh, NC 27606-3390, by phone (919) 233-9767, by email at info@akc.org, or on their website at www.akc.org. We are pleased to offer the following separate cash award: $315 to first team to get their multi-pax (PAX2 or more) Rules and clarification: Some very generous Swamp Doggies have donated Prize Money for the first teams to win a Multi PAX at a Swamp Dog Agility Trial 1. This is minimum cash value. The pots may grow as additional donations are accepted until trial closing date. Final cash value will be announced in the running program. 2. To neutralize jump height order advantage, pots will be shared if there is more than one winner per pot from a given Class (JWW or STD). For example, if a 12 dog and a 20 dog both achieve MACH1 on the first day of the trial in the EX JWW class, they will split their respective pot. 3. Pots will not be split based on Class running order. For example, on Friday, if EX Standard runs first and only one dog achieves MACH1, and then later a second dog achieves MACH1 in the JWW class, the team to MACH1 in Standard is the only winner of the respective pot. 4. Cash prizes are to be won outright. Pots not awarded at the 2010 trial will carry-over to future trials until won outright.

VOLUNTEER WORKER FORM Volunteer helpers will be needed for the smooth running of this trial. To volunteer to help, please fill out the form below and return with your entries. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. INSTRUCTIONS Handlers may opt to enter in a higher height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper height division. All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running. Dogs listed in the AKC Canine Partners SM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club s option. These dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box. Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not have your Junior Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) 233-9767. I CERTIFY that I am the actual owner of the dog, or that I am the duly authorized agent of the actual owner whose name I have entered above. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club in effect at the time of this event, and by any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list for this event, and further agree to be bound by the Agreement printed on the reverse side of this entry form.
