HEIGHT DIVISIONS - See www.k9tdaa.com for updates to Rules and height divisions! Owners are responsible for entering the proper height division. Judges reserve the right to measure dogs entered in any trial. At the handler s option, dogs may be entered in a higher height division (and scored in that higher height division) but not in a lower height than their proper height division. Dogs that run in a height division lower than their division will be eliminated. A judge must measure provisional dogs. 4 for dogs 8 or less at the withers, or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 12 or less 8 for dogs 12 or less at the withers, or dogs with a jump height exemption of 16 or less. 12 for dogs 16 or less at the withers, or dogs with a jump height exemption of 20 or less 16 for dogs 20 or less at the withers. FEO will have a maximum time of 1.5 of the SCT. No training in the ring. GAMES DESCRIPTIONS Super Dog! is a strategic point accumulation game. It is based on the old PACMAN computer game that if the smiley ate a power pill it could move faster and gobble up things in its path. FAST Teams try and perform all or as many of the obstacles as possible so long as time allows, without repeating any. There will be a Send bonus which will allow the dog to earn bonus points. The Send Bonus will be required to qualify in the class. Louganis is a curious mixture of Power and Speed, Time Warp and Call Direct and Send. The course begins with the untimed performance of two contact obstacles. The dog s time begins after crossing the starting line after the second contact obstacle. However, bonus points may be earned if the handler advances beyond any of the three handler containments shown on the course. Gamblers is a two-part game: dog s choice point accumulation followed by a distance challenge. The objective of Gamblers is for the dog-and-handler team to accumulate as many points as possible in the allotted time and to successfully complete the distance challenge. Gamblers is scored points then time. Las Vegas the object is to accumulate as many points as possible in a fixed time period. This is accomplished by running sequences of varying point value. The order in which the sequences are run is handler/dog choice. Power and Speed is a two part game. In the first part [Power] the dog will run an untimed sequence of mostly technical obstacles; and in the second part [Speed] the dog will run a timed jumpers course. Power and Speed is scored time, plus faults.
