NAME: Chloe (NW) 4 year old chocolate female. She has had 2 litters but breeder wants to re-home her as she is not coping with 5 other dogs and is depressed. He lives with older Dobermans and cats but needs more attention as his owner does not have the time to spend with him. He will need training BY OWNER NAME: Jasper (JHB) Jasper is 9 year old neutered male who is still very active. His owners moved up from Durban into a townhouse complex and Jasper was not coping with the confined spaces. He is an absolute gentleman with a wonderful kind nature and is great with other dogs but has never been exposed to cats and is just a bit too interested in them! We were told he has a very mild case of epilepsy but in the 3 weeks he has been in kennels, he has shown no sign of it. He does have mild hip and elbow dysplasia and would need to be kept on joint diet food and moderate exercise. He is in kennels at the moment and really does need to be loved and part of a family IN CT NAME: Labrynth and Toby (JHB) Labrynth is a 18 month old Chocolate Labrador - he has been neutered and vaccinated, very friendly and loveable in fact he will wander of with just about anyone if let of his lead in the park! He is a pure-breed and has mild hip dysplasia and is on an arthritis supplement as a precautionary measure. Toby is a 6+ year old ginger cat, also neutered and vaccinated, loves Labrynth but doesn't get along with other dogs. He is gentle and a typical lazy cat, likes to snooze in the sunshine. NAME: Jack & Pia (CT) Jack is a 3 year old neutered male who is great with children. He is a very lovable dog, who is so loyal and loving. He is the friendliest dog on the beach and loves to swim! Pia is a 6-year old pure black female great Dane. She is a very docile dog, as all great Danes are. She is quite lazy during the day but loves walks on the beach. She has a very loud bark and is imposing for potential intruders. She is great with children, doesn t lick faces. She is very relaxed but has a problem with Alsations. Both dogs are micro-chipped and they sleep inside. If possible, they need to be homed together BY OWNER NAME: Shiela (JHB) Shiela is 6 month old female found as a stray and now has to be re-homed. She is very playful and knows basic commands and is house trained. As she is still a pup, she does chew things and she sleeps outside in kennels. NAME: Gucio (JHB) Gucio is 2.5 year old lovely Labrador male looking for a very good home. He loves kids and loves playing ball. He is house trained and he loves carrots and Marie biscuits as a treat He is looking for a new home because his and his brother are fighting. Name: Buddy (Brits) Buddy is an 18 month old purebred male who has no papers. He is very good with children and cats lives with 2 kittens. Has not lived with other dogs but socialises well. He is very playful and walks on the lead with a bit of pulling. He is very obedient and just wants to please. He has lived with cats all his life and also female fox terrier. His inoculations are up to date and he is trained and walks well on lead. NAME: Clara & Benji (JHB) Clara and Benji are a brother and sister from the same litter and are 16 months old. They are both house trained and have grown up with children, two cats, three free ranging bantams and a rabbit. They are both sterilized and their injections are up to date. They share the same kennel which could also be relocated with them. Clara loves having a paddle in the pool and Benji sometimes enjoys a swim in summer. They are both used to walks on leads though they do pull a lot as they tend to quickly get over excited and both love fetching a ball. REHOMED TOGETHER NAME: Pepper (Haartebeesport) Pepper is a 4-5 month old Labbie (x?) female needing a good home. Pepper is probably a chocolate/black Labbie cross, but she might be purebred, we re not too sure. Pepper was found roaming the streets in Hartbeespoort and was covered in ticks when she was brought to us. She was dipped immediately and watched like a hawk to look for any signs of billary. Thankfully she never showed signs and is now a happy, playful, energetic girl just waiting for a family of her own NAME: Kiara Kiara is 9 month old black female who is being trained at present. She is very lovable and friendly and is good with other animals. All vacs are up to date. Very sad owner is moving to premises where she cannot keep her BY OWNER NAME; Oscar (Johannesburg) This is Oscar and he is 8 months old. Brilliant with kids and dogs but has never lived with cats. He is perfectly healthy and has an up to date vet card. Very sad owner cannot cope with the high energy and would rather see him in a home where he will get the exercise he needs. He lives with Maltese and JR and is fine with both. OWNER KEPT HIM Name: Puppy 4 month old black female puppy looking for a home. Purebred but not registered. Very sweet.
NAME: Sassy (DRB) Sassy is a super sweet, very affectionate and loving girl, she is a pure bred Labbie who is now 3 years old. Sassy gets along well with other dogs and loves human company. NAME: Dino & Sheba Dino is a 12 month old yellow male and Sheba is a 12 month old female. Both love children of all ages. They have never been exposed to cats and not many other dogs but there have been no aggressive incidents. They both walks nicely on lead. Vac are up to date and vet reference is available. They can be split but would prefer them to be homed with other dogs for company BY OWNER NAME: Shakira (JHB) Shakira was rescued from a backyard breeder in Derdepoort. She is about a year old and was in whelp with her 3 rd litter. She got billiary and aborted. She has been at the vets and has received a clean bill of health although she is very underweight. She has been inoculated and dewormed. We will kennel her until we are able to spay her in about a month s time and will then be looking for a home for her where she will be loved and spoilt. She is a very sweet little girl who has had a really tough time she is a little bit timid and will need a gentle and loving hand. While she is in the kennels we will assess her temperament as well as how she reacts to other dogs, cats and children. NAME: Bagheera (EL) Bagheera grew up in Hogsback in the Eastern Cape. She is 8 years old, spayed and regularly inoculated. She gets along well with other animals (grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens and pigs), loves children, and is an excellent companion on daily walks (and even mountain bike rides). She is caring, patient and loves to please people.
NAME: Buddy & Momo (DRB) Buddy and Momo are purebred Labradors looking for a home together. Buddy is 6years old and Momo is 4 years old. They have grown up in a farm environment and have not been exposed to small children. They live with cats. Momo is okay with other dogs, Buddy is not okay with other male dogs. Although they are outside dogs, Buddy is sacred of thunder storms and would need to be inside during a storm TOGETHER NAME: Squire (Fourways) Squire is a 10 year old black pedigreed Labrador (with papers) who has been brought up around children and absolutely lives for love and attention. He is in gorgeous condition, strong, healthy and has been used as a stud previously so therefore needs to be fenced in or he may look for another girlfriend. A much loved INDOOR dog who sadly needs to URGENTLY find a new home due to change of circumstances. Name: MACY Macy is a 10 month old black Labrador. She is spayed. She is very good with children and is okay with other dogs, she is well socialised., but not very trustworthy with cats. She loves swimming and is lead trained. All vacs up to date and she has no health issues and has a vet reference. She is very willing to please and has had basic training. She is high energy and needs a big property. He is well socialized and is very friendly and gentle. He walks nicely on lead and looks as though he has come from a loving family and is in very good condition. He was found as a stray. He will have to be adopted from Grabouw Animal Welfare and their adoption fees will apply Name: SiSi (Komge) Sisi is a chocolate female nearly 3 years old. She has been used as a registered breeding bitch and has had one litter, but has major problems with whelping so the breeder has decided to re-homed her to a loving home. She will be spayed and all inoculations are up to date. She is very good with children and has lived with other dogs. Name: Kuvo & Sacha (JHB) Kuvo is a 6 year old golden retriever and Sacha is a 5 year old yellow female Labrador looking for loving homes as owners are emigrating. They can be homed separately. Both are brilliant with children and other dogs, but have never lived with cats.
