This class is the first step in helping prepare dogs to later pass the CGC (Canine Good Citizenship) test. $150/resident dog; $160/non-resident dog Pavilion Rentals Pavilion rentals for Millennium and Beirne parks are now open. Learn how to phase out using food as a reward, develop a solid recall, teach your dog to relax on a mat and work on loose leash walking. This class works on the advanced skills needed to pass the CGC test. $150/resident dog; $160/non-resident dog Fun Scent Games by DogNostics, for dogs 4 months and older Harness your dog s natural scenting ability for fun. This group class uses games to teach dogs to locate hidden objects using only their noses and then tell their handlers they ve found the prize. Scent games are a great bonding experience for dogs and their handlers and are a great form of mental exercise and rainy day games. VISIT CREVE COEUR S Millennium Park 2 Barnes West Boulevard Millennium is one of Creve Coeur s largest parks sitting on 25 acres. Park amenities include two playgrounds, seasonal splash pad, a pavilion that seats 100, barbecue grill, 0.6-mile paved walking trail, restrooms, soccer field, a softball/baseball field and the historic Tappmeyer House. Lake School Park 581 Coeur de Ville Road Lake School Park sits on six acres and features a playground, historic Lake School, restrooms, soccer field and three renovated, lighted tennis courts. Millennium Park is located just south of Olive Boulevard at the end of Barnes West Drive. Fountain Park 11915 Olive Boulevard This one-acre park is a great get away for a lunch hour. The park features a playground and plenty of picnic tables. LaVerne Collins Park 10581 Old Olive Street The peaceful one-and-a-half acre park is named in the honor of retired City Clerk, LaVerne Collins. With a gazebo and flagpole monument, this park is a great place to relax with a book or enjoy lunch. The park also features a playground, a small picnic pavilion, sand volleyball court and restrooms. You can also relax in Serenity Grove, a densely planted area with a rock creek and plenty of shaded seating. Beirne Park 10630 Country View Drive Beirne Park is one of Creve Coeur's busiest parks. Spanning seven and a half acres, the park features a half-mile paved trail, three tennis courts, a soccer field, two playgrounds, a picnic pavilion, barbecue grills and restrooms. 5
