National Tours 4,735 Birds. The third Midlands National race in 2005 from Tours proved to be one of the toughest M.N.F.C. Nationals for some time. The birds were liberated in a north east wind in France and on one of the hottest days for racing so far this year. The head winds, the heat and the distances between 350 to 480 miles prove too much for many of the birds entered. This resulting in some lofts not clocking any pigeons on the day. 3rd Open National Neale Turner & Son 8th Open National - John Bate
