You should report any errors to the Trial Secretary immediately. NADAC records trial results as they are submitted by the host clubs/groups. The individual trial results submitted by the club are uploaded to the www.nadacforum.com within two weeks after the NADAC office receives them from the club. Please accept the responsibility to review those results, and check that your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. You can join the Forum by going to www.nadacforum.com and submitting your request. If you find an error in the reporting of your dog s qualifying points or registration number, please contact the host club. The host club is responsible for correcting any errors and informing NADAC. Levels. Points earned at a higher level of a class, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will not be recorded by NADAC for future use. If a dog earns points in a level of a class that they are not eligible to title in, those points will not be added to the dog's records. SKILLED VS PROFICIENT CATEGORIES Each class will be split into two categories, Proficient and Skilled. A dog may be entered in one category for the weekend. A dog may not be entered in Skilled one day and Proficient on another day. The Skilled and Proficient categories apply to all classes, divisions, and levels. In the Skilled Category, dogs must jump 4 lower than indicated by the current jump height table. (No dog may jump less than 4 ). For example a dog that measures to jump in the 20 Standard class will jump 16. Dogs are allotted the standard course time for, are scored and are placed in the jump height entered. Dogs entered in the Proficient Category must jump their measured height for the division they are entered in. NON JUMPING CLASSES VETERAN OR DISABLED HANDLER Handlers who are 60 years or older, or who have a disability that restricts mobility, may choose to enter the non jumping classes as a Veteran Handler and receive additional standard course time. This option is for Veteran/Disabled handlers in the non jumping classes only. When entering as a Veteran/Disabled Handler, you must enter all dogs in all classes for the entire trial in this Division and must jump 4 lower than your Standard Division jump height requires. In the non jumping classes, dogs will be scored and placed with their Standard Division jump height. VETERAN DOGS: As of January, 2014, dogs must enter the Veterans Dog Division in all jumping classes after their 9th birthday. After their 12th birthday, dogs must enter the Skilled Category, Veterans Division for jumping classes and Skilled Category for non jumping classes. INTRO LEVEL COURSES: Dogs who have not previously competed in NADAC must enter in either Novice or Intro level but Intro is not a prerequisite to Novice. Intro is open to any dog. Intro Level courses are shorter in length than Novice courses. Jump heights can be chosen by the handler without regard to the dog's height, with 16" being the maximum jump height allowed. There are no contact/tunnel discriminations and the only class with weaves is Intro Weavers with one set of six.
