AGILITY NUTS Summer Series 2018 Saturday 7 th July to Sunday 8 th July 2018 8Venue: Bilsthorpe Miners Welfare Sportsground, Eakring Road, Bilsthorpe, NG22 8PY www.agilitynuts.co.uk Show opens: 7:30 a.m. Judging Commences 8:30 a.m. CAMPERS PLEASE NOTE: NO ARRIVALS BEFORE 1 PM ON FRIDAY Show Information Welcome to the third show of the Agility Nuts 2018 Summer Season. Please take the time to read through the following information as this will help to ensure that the show runs smoothly. Walking the courses: Courses at each level will be the same for all sizes of dogs. All handlers need to walk the course before the first class at their level, regardless of the height jumps are set at. Please note that Veteran & Nursery classes will run concurrently so must be walked together and run when the jumps are set at your preferred height. Getting to the line: Please be aware of when you need to run your dogs! If you have multiple dogs to run please stagger your runs to make sure that the end of the class is not delayed whilst the Judge waits for you to go and get your next dog. If you have a Tiny dog, please get your dogs to the line whilst people are still walking the course if the class starts with Tiny dogs (as indicated on the Ring Plan), or, if the class starts with Medium dogs, please bring your Tiny dogs to the ring whilst the Small dogs are running. Don t forget to play your Jokers! At each Agility Nuts show this summer you get the opportunity to double the league points you gain from a single class on each day by playing your Joker. You simply decide which class you want to play your joker in and let the ring party know when you book in. A coloured sticker will be placed on your scribe sheet to indicate that you are playing your joker. You can only play ONE joker per dog per day at each show and you must declare that you are playing the joker BEFORE the run! Anyone who plays more than one joker will have league points deducted! Show Offs Rosettes Open Jumping Pairs Pay on the Day: We will be running separate pairs classes for Large and ABL dogs on the Saturday after the jumping classes have closed. The Pairs classes will consist solely of jumps and tunnels. The pairs class will cost 6 per pair. Many thanks to Show Offs Rosettes for sponsoring this class. Day parking: All competitors should enter through the main entrance on Eakring Road and follow the track around the back of the Bowling Greens to the day parking area. Dogs in cars: Your dog is vulnerable and at risk if left in a vehicle at high temperatures, even on days that you may only consider to be slightly warm. Please take care of your dog. If your dog is found to be at risk, forcible entry to your vehicle may be necessary without liability for the damage caused. Camping: Camping is available from 1 pm on the Friday before the show starts. All campers must vacate the venue by 11 am on Monday morning. Pitches will not be marked, so please choose pitches sensibly. All camping units must have a fire extinguisher and/or bucket of water available. Toilet facilities and water taps are available at the venue. Toilets: The toilets are located in the clubhouse. Ladies: please use the toilet to the right hand side of the club house (ignore the Male sign!) and the toilet in the Away dressing room. Gents: please use the toilets in the Home dressing room. Venue Rules: The venue is a sports ground on the edge of Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. Areas that are out of bounds will be clearly marked and must be respected. Please note that we now have a policy of no more than two dogs off-lead per handler at any one time. All owners must pick up after their dogs no exceptions! Owners knowingly not picking up after their dogs will be asked to leave the venue and may be excluded from future Agility Nuts shows. Bins for dog waste will be provided. Helping at the Show: We ask that all competitors give 1 hour per day to help on one of the rings to enable the smooth running of the show. No-one is expected to help at the expense of missing their classes. This is made a lot easier to achieve if everyone helps. There will be a list on display at the show indicating when we would prefer you to help (AM or PM) and on which Ring.
Catering: Caterers will be on-site during the show. Results: Agility Nuts will be using ringside entry of results with real-time updates of the current standings as each class runs available on monitor(s) located by the Show Office. Results and updated League Tables will be available on the Agility Nuts website (www.agilitynuts.co.uk) as soon as possible after the show.
