Course Familiarization and Warm-Ups Handlers in all classes will be permitted to walk the course, without a dog, prior to the start of each class. Walk-through periods will be held prior to each class following the judge s briefing. A warm-up area consisting of a regulation agility jump will be provided for all exhibitors. Class Changes and Move-ups: Pre-trial move-ups will be accepted until 6 PM, August 13, 2018 by e-mail or phone call to the trial secretary. Moveups will also be allowed from Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday during the trial. We ask that you very carefully read your confirmation and be certain that you are signed up for the classes that you want. Awards: Qualifying ribbons will be awarded in all jump heights and placement ribbons will be awarded for 1 st through 4 th places. No placement ribbons will be awarded in the Chances Class as it is a pass/fail class. Sierra SweepStakes: This is a volunteer only raffle. The drawing will be held on Sunday before the last class of the day. Volunteers will be paid with sweepstakes tickets for each class they work. Volunteers: We will have a worker's sign-up board at the trial. So that volunteers are ready to work when the class begins, we encourage you to place your name on the board early in the morning. The Chief Ring Steward will call for volunteers if a class is not filled with the necessary volunteers. We need everyone to help with a couple of classes each day. Workers will receive Sweepstake tickets for the Sierra SweepStakes drawing on Sunday. Weather and Shade: The weather in Mammoth Lakes in August is usually very pleasant with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Because we are at high altitude, the sun can be very intense. There is very limited shade, so you are strongly advised to bring some sort of shade shelter for you and your dog. Food: ESAG will be providing assorted food and drinks throughout the weekend. There will be a lunch sandwich call to a local deli each day for those that are interested. DISCLAIMER ESAG will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibited or for the possessions of any exhibitor whether the result was by accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this event is in the care, custody, and control of its owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. Any exhibitor whose dog(s) and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Show Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of fees paid will be made. ESAG POLICIES ESAG reserves the right to refuse any entry. The organizing committee may also refuse any entry on the basis expressly provided through NADAC rules and regulations or guidelines established by NADAC. Anyone not currently in good standing with NADAC cannot enter the trial. Only handlers who are officially entered in the trial and have submitted an application with the handler s signature accepting Agreement and ESAG Policies, will be allowed to run dogs in the trial. All dogs must be on leash when not competing in the ring. Please clean up after yourself and your dog. Safety shall always be the foremost consideration in actions and conduct by handlers at all times. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbances, fire, acts of God, public emergency, an act of public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Checks not honored by the bank do not constitute a valid entry fee. There will be a $25.00 service charge for bankreturned checks. There will be no refunds for entries withdrawn after the closing date, or in the event a dog and/or handler is dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for such dismissal. Refunds will be issued for bitches in season if submitted in writing BEFORE the trial date, with a statement from your veterinarian. No setups within 15 feet of any ring, please.

Categories Each class contains two categories, Proficient and Skilled. A dog may only be entered in ONE category per weekend. In the Skilled Category, dogs must jump 4 lower than indicated by the current jump height table. (No dog may jump less than 4 ). In the Regular Agility Class, dogs may incur 5 or fewer faults, and earn a 5 point qualifying round. A qualifying round must be clean and will earn 10 points. (Please refer to www.nadac.com for the latest information and explanation of the Skilled and Proficient categories). Veteran or Disabled Handler: Handlers who are 60 years or older, or who have a disability that restricts mobility, may choose to enter classes as a Veteran Handler and receive 10% more standard course time. This option is for Veteran/Disabled handlers in ALL classes. The Veteran/Disabled Handler division is designed for handlers who, due to age or impairment, are mobility limited and need extra time to guide their canine partners through an agility course. When entering as a Veteran/Disabled Handler, you must enter all dogs in all classes for the entire trial in this Division and must jump 4 lower than your Proficient, Standard Division jump height requires. In the non-jumping classes, dogs will be scored and placed with their Standard Division jump height. IMPORTANT: Please check your dog's NADAC registration number on your trial confirmation as soon as you receive it; also, please check the copy of the results posted at the trial. You should report any errors to the Trial Secretary immediately. NADAC records trial results as they are submitted by the host clubs/groups. The individual trial results submitted by the club are uploaded to the www.nadacforum.com within two weeks after the NADAC office receives them from the club. Please accept the responsibility to review those results, and check that your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. You can join the Forum by going to www.nadacforum.com and submitting your request. If you find an error in the reporting of your dog s qualifying points or registration number, please contact the host club. The host club is responsible for correcting any errors and informing NADAC. Levels: Points earned at a higher level of a class, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will not be recorded by NADAC for future use. If a dog earns points in a level of a class that they are not eligible to title in, those points will not be added to the dog's records.
