From Sharon Phillips This is a little late, but Tempus Fugit, Time Flies. Rugby finished his UD at the Ashtabula trials. He finished in 6 trials, not bad for a wild and crazy guy. No one could ever say Rugby lacks effort. He is a joy to train even if sometimes he makes my brain work overtime. Rugby loves to work, whatever that work might be. Yet at home he is sweet boy, spending most of his time in the shade or lying around on the furniture. He is one of the easiest dogs to live with. Rugby is the 6th Utility Dog I have finished (i have shown others in utility but for one reason or another they did not title). He follows in the paw prints of Sunwoods Thank You, UD, Can CD - Sunwood Shavie UD (collies), Wizard of Ahhs, UD (whippet), Legacy Just Do it, UD, NA (Belgian Sheepdog), Arborview Moonshadow at FallFire, UD, NA, RE (Australian Shepherd). Rugby UD, RAE, NF, NA, will continue to show occasionally in Agility, but right now our main focus is Tracking. Of course he loves it. Rugby gets to have all the fun. Map to Helen s Place! Canine Cancer Awareness We have quite a few bracelets left over from the March Agility Trial when we had our Canine Cancer Awareness weekend. If you are able to take some and sell them, we can still make a BIGGER donation to the AKC Canine Health Foundation earmarked for cancer research. They are black silicone with hot pink paws on them and are not hard to sell! We are selling them for $2 a piece and ALL profits go to AKCCHF. There are a few bracelets at the club on the desk outside the office with a money box. Sandy will also have them at upcoming agility trials. If everyone sold 5 bracelets in the club, we could make a BIG additional donation! Take them to work or give as gifts! Please help support this worthy cause. Please contact Sandy Irish and she will make arrangements to get you the amount you need. sirish637@embarqmail.com July 2016 Youngstown All Breed Training Club 5
