GSLDTC List of Awards Page 4 AWARDS BANQUET Is scheduled for February 11, 2017. held at the Bicentennial Indoor Pavilion located at 530 East 8680 South, Sandy, UT. The club will supply Prime Rib, cost is $10.00 per person plus a side dish/ dessert to share. Email reservations to Michelle Larsen @ hippoml@yahoo.com by February 6, 2017. And don t forget to fill out the Awards Application for all titles/certificates your dog/s have earned in 2016. Please get those forms completed and either mailed or emailed to Catherine Beattie. Deadline for the awards forms are January 28, 2017 Catherine s address and email is on the form. Please remember, filling out an awards application DOES NOT reserve you a seat at the Banquet. You NEED to contact Michelle if you plan to attend the Banquet. What is the Awards Banquet?? The Awards Banquet is normally held the first or second Saturday in January and takes the place of the December General Meeting, as there are no classes or meetings in December. It is also meant to recognize the members and their companions who have earned titles and or certificates in the previous year. A medallion will be given to the member/s for each dog they have earned an AKC title/s on. A CGC medallion will be given to members for each dog they have earned a CGC title on. A certificate will be given to the member/s who have earned non AKC titles on their dog/s. One medallion and or certificate per dog for all titles. Titles /certificates must have been earned in 2016. In order to be recognized at the Awards Banquet, you must fill out the Awards Application on the next page. If filling it out by hand, please print clearly. I will also attached a fillable form in emails between now and the deadline.

Home Secretary Report: Renewals have been sent out. Treasurer s Report Signed the 2017 lease for the Columbus Center, Everything paid to date. Vice President s Report: Nov speakers will be Tom & Wendy on how to properly play with your dog. Jan speaker will be Donna Smith on Scentwork. Training Report: Next class sign up will be Jan 4, 2017 and to start Jan 11, 2017. We will have Puppy class at 7pm, depending on how many sign up, may divide up the class into 2. Rally at 6:45, Penny will instruct a beginning and advanced class. We will also have an intermediate class in Jan. Brenda Stan sent a Thank you card for the gift certificates donated. Hospitality: Awards Banquet date is set for Feb 11 th. Prime Rib has been ordered.
