(Variety) If you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e. Cocker Spaniel (solid color, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.). Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition. Dogs that are champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed compeition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements of a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e. age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.) 5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience, and Rally trials shall mark Breed as All-American Dog/Mixed Breed. Sire and Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed compeition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements of a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e. age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS A Recording Fee of 50 cents and $3.00 AKC Service Fee (for each regular/optional titling class) will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or member Club Show or Obedience Trial. These Fees are to be collected by the Show-giving Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Service Fee is to be collected for each class in which the dog is entered The Fees are included in your Entry Fee. A Recording Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered in any Licensed or member Club Rally Trial class. In addition, a fee of $.50 will be required for the first entry of each dog in a Rally class. These Fees are to be collected by the Show-giving Club. The Fees are included in your Entry Fee. Entries must be made on an Official American Kennel Club form, signed by the actual owner or his duly authorized agent. Please TYPE or PRINT entry forms. A dog may be entered in the same class (es) for all trials using a single entry form. Please check the day or days for which the entry is applicable. Front and back sides of the entry form MUST be included and the back signed for your entry to be accepted Entries will NOT be accepted, canceled, altered, or substituted after the closing date. The Club assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the dog. Effective January 1, 2014, section 14 of the Obedience Regulations states in part:...females in season are not permitted to compete. If a female is withdrawn from competition because it came into season and the event secretary is notified no later than one half hour prior to the start of the first class in the trial, the club is required to refund the entry fee. The club may retain a processing fee and must publish this information in the premium In accordance with this regulation, the club will retain $10.00 of the entry fee and refund the reminder to the exhibitor. Exhibitors requesting a refund under this regulation must provide a written statement from the exhibitor s veterinarian confirming that the female is in season. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Obedience Trial Committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete because it has been entered incorrectly. Entry fees will not be refunded if the Trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Trial Secretary. San Antonio Dog Training Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No dogs except those entered will be allowed in the Trial building. Transfers: Transfers will be allowed. The request for a transfer must be in writing and presented to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging according to the judging program. Dogs must be ready for judging. The Club and its Trial Secretary will not be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of class judging. San Antonio Dog Training Club, the Trial Secretary, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. No awards will be mailed. No awards will be made after the closing of the trial. All awards not claimed and picked up by the exhibitor or his agent prior to the closing of the trial will become the property of San Antonio Dog Training Club. Crating space is limited. Please stack crates. No ex-pens. Exhibitors will be allowed to set up crates before the show on Friday evening (March 4) between the hours of 7 P.M. and 8 P.M. ONLY! Take the turn-around under IH 35 and continue north on the access road to Bunk N Biscuit. Info about our site: The ring surface is thick, black hard rubber with excellent traction for you, your dog, and the dumbbell. The ring gates will be white plastic, about 4 feet tall, somewhat like a picket fence, which minimize distractions. will Because we cannot get into the building to set up until Friday evening, and then only briefly, we will not be able to hold a show-n-go Friday night. It is possible that we can have one Saturday evening. However, we will have a ring familiarization time period for you and your on-lead dog from 7-8 pm on Friday evening along with crate setup. You will have approximately 5 minutes in the ring with 3-5 others, so that your dog can get used to the surface. There will be no jumps in the rings, and food will not be allowed. No individual chairs will be allowed. The club will provide folding chairs for exhibitors use.

Bitches in season will NOT be permitted within the trial premises. For all classes, both Obedience and Rally, that involve jumps, entries will be judged in order of jump height. On Saturday, the jump height order will be low to high (starting with 4 in both Obedience and both Rally Trials), On Sunday, jump height order will be high to low (starting with 36 in Obedience, 16 in Rally). Please put the jump height for your dog on the entry form so San Antonio Dog Training Club may set the proper order of judging.
