Illegible or incomplete entries will not be processed and will be returned to the exhibitor. Entries not accompanied by the correct fees or a returned check do not constitute a valid entry. The Trial Secretary will add a $25.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Those that have checks returned for NSF will be on a cash only basis for all future trials. Yellowstone Valley Kennel Club is NOT accepting online entries. Please mail entries so that they arrive on or before closing. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS SAFETY, BEHAVIOR and LIABILITY The safety of the dog is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all exercises safely. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. The Yellowstone Valley Kennel Club and its agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. The Yellowstone Valley Kennel Club reserves the right to decline entries for cause and may remove any dog on account of aggression. No one shall have any recourse or claim against the Yellowstone Valley Kennel Club or any official thereof. The Yellowstone Valley Kennel Club will not be responsible for the loss of/or damage to any dog entered and exhibited, whether the result of accident or other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this trial is under the care, custody, and control of it s owner or handler at all times. The Yellowstone Valley Kennel Club officers, board members, and the Trial Secretary assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the exhibitors, their dogs, or property. All dogs must be on leash at all times when on trial grounds except when competing in the ring. This is a horse boarding facility. Horses will be on the premises. Dogs must be on leash at all times. Anyone found disturbing the horses in any manner will be asked to leave the show site immediately. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s) AT ALL TIMES. Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Trial Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. Cleaning supplies and disposal sites will be available at various locations around the show grounds. PLEASE use them. SITE INFORMATION The building will be opened from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. The trial grounds include all buildings and the surrounding parking area and pastures. All regulations governing the use of this facility and all regulations and decisions of the Trial Committee of the Yellowstone Valley Kennel Club will be strictly enforced, including those not listed in the premium list. Dogs may NOT be left in the building overnight. Dogs must be exercised ON LEASH and in designated areas. Show grounds available for set up: Friday, May 13 between 4:00-5:00 pm. Please crate your dogs in designated areas only. There will be areas both inside and outside for crating dogs. Shade tents may be set up outside. Crates may be left in the building overnight. The building will be locked. Anything left inside/outside is done so at the owner s risk. Neither YVKC or the White Aspen Ranch are responsible for loss or theft. Take left on Zoo Drive. Continue over overpass to Frontage Road. Take a right. Big Sky Pet Center will be on left. REFUNDS Bitches in season are absolutely NOT ALLOWED anywhere on trial grounds-no Exceptions. As such, the club will refund entry fees less $5.00 per entry per day entered for bitches unable to compete for this reason upon presentation of a veterinarian certificate. This certificate must be presented to the Trial Secretary prior to the start of judging on the first day of the trial or cluster of trials. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by veterinarian or judge, barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete due to being entered incorrectly. No entry fees will be refunded if the Trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, or any other causes beyond the control of the Trial Committee. YVKC may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive, or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness, or other cause, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against YVKC or official thereof. JUDGING INFORMATION Check In will start at 7:00 am. Judging will start at 7:30 am. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. The owner of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when it is to be judged. The Club has no responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. THERE SHALL BE NO drilling nor intensive or corrective training on the show grounds or premises. Any training or warm up must comply with Chapter 2, Section 26 of the Obedience Regulations. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: An entry acknowledgment along with a judging schedule will be emailed to the email address on the entry after entries close. (If you wish your Agent to receive an acknowledgment of your entry and/or judging schedule, please submit request with entry and Agent s correct email address for this courtesy.) Should Exhibitor NOT receive an acknowledgment within a reasonable time, PLEASE notify the Trial Secretary by telephone at (406) 698-4663 or by e-mail at yvkcentry@aol.com. MOVEUPS: Move-ups will be allowed at this trial per AKC regulations. A move-up may be requested from the Trial Secretary if, according to the owner s records, the dog has completed the requirements for the title after the closing date of the trial in which the advanced entry is to be made. The request must be in writing or sent by email and presented to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Move-ups are to comply with Chapter 1, Section 16 of the Obedience Regulations.

A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name.
