ENTRY FEES Separate Fee for Each Dog, Each Trial NOTE: When a dog is entered in more than one class, the highest price class is considered the first entry. A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each recordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). A $3.50 AKC Recording Fee will be required for the first entry in Rally and $3.00 for each additional entry in Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 5). These Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. Parking on left side near back of Simi Courthouse. TRANSFERS will be allowed at this trial. Dogs which according to their owners records have earned an obedience or rally title after the closing of entries for the show may be moved up to the next class, provided this transfer is made in writing and presented to the Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. BITCHES IN SEASON Refund of entry fees for bitches entered in obedience/rally who come in season after the closing date of this show may be obtained by sending a veterinarian s certificate to the Show Secretary. This certificate must be postmarked before the opening date of the show or given to the Show Secretary one half hour prior to the start of the first class in the trial. The sum of $12.00 for the first class entered and $7.00 for further classes entered, will be returned to the exhibitor. Exhibitors are admonished to make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany the premium list. Rule books may be obtained from A.K.C., online at www.akc.org It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. No ineligible dog will be allowed on the trial grounds. Declination of Entries. The Club may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other causes, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the Kennel Club or any official thereof. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry will be made. Do not leave any dogs in closed vehicles. All persons attending this dog show hereby waive any claim for damages against the Buenaventura Dog Training Club, Inc, its members or agents, in the event a motor vehicle must be entered to rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation due to improper ventilation. There shall be no drilling nor intensive or corrective training of dogs on the show grounds or premises. All dogs shall be kept on leash except when in the obedience or exercising ring or confined in crates. The welfare of an exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on the day of the show. Are You An Obedience Novice A Handler, Rally Novice A Handler, Beginner Novice A Handler? If you are, we would like to invite you to our Show! Please plan on attending a New Handler Introduction class. This class will be held 1 hour prior to your Novice Class. We will go over the trial rules, answer any questions and show you how to get checked in. We will be giving out a little gift bag. The day of the trial if you have any questions, please feel free to ask any of our Club Mentors wearing gold T-shirts with BDTC logo and the word Mentor on the back. We will be happy to help answer any of your questions.
