Entry Fees for Rally: Regular Classes: $29.00 for the first entry of each dog and $22.00 for each additional entry of the same dog on the same day. Fees include the $3.00 AKC EVENT SERVICE FEE AND A RECORDING FEE of $.50 on the first entry of a dog and a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes, or the $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee on each entry of a dog in Rally. (There is no recording fee or event service fee for sweepstakes, futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes or special attractions.) These fees are to be collected by the Show-giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. (AKC Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). Note: If a bitch entered in the Obedience Classes comes in season after the Trial s closing date, the entry fee, less $5.00 will be refunded. To be eligible for a refund, a statement from a veterinarian must be presented to the Show Secretary before 9:00 am on the day of the trial.... TELEGRAPH, TELEPHONE, AND UNSIGNED ENTRIES CANNOT BE ACCEPTED. Entries not on official AKC entry forms and photocopies of entry forms without the agreement and rules on the reverse side of Official AKC entry forms are not acceptable. Fees must be submitted with entries. The OTC of GL will donate $.25 per entry to the MSU Purebred Dog Endowment Fund. Entries sent by overnight (express) mail or similar services should be designated no signature required. NO ENTRY shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Make all checks and money orders payable to: OTCGL. Canadian exhibitors must make fees payable in US funds. Returned checks will be considered invalid entries. OTCGL will charge a $20.00 Processing Fee for all checks returned for insufficient funds. ENTRY FEES SHALL NOT BE REFUNDED in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the show committee. If because of riots, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry will be made. Neither the Obedience Training Club of Greater Lansing nor Michigan State University assumes any responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or any of their dogs or property. OTCGL further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. PARENTS & GUARDIANS MUST KEEP THEIR CHILDREN UNDER CONTROL ON THE SHOW GROUNDS. Admission to the show is free, exhibitors and spectators are advised to bring their own chairs. Move ups will be allowed in both obedience and rally. Dogs may arrive at any time prior to the scheduled time of judging. Dogs that are not required for further judging will be excused. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. 6 Anyone in need of special accommodations or with special requirements should contact the Trial Secretary by telephone or in writing in advance of the trial. 3

Obedience Trial and Rally Trial Prizes In this list, dog means either sex. Trophies must be claimed on the day of the trial as NONE WILL BE MAILED. In the event a specific trophy is unavailable, a trophy of equal value will be substituted. Where the same dog is entered in more than one Regular Class, only the highest score earned by the dog will be eligible for prizes (except where prize is offered for an individual class). Handlers who may be eligible for special trophies marked with an asterisk (*) must be registered at the trophy table before they exhibit on the day of the trial. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons or trophies, I(we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I(we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I(we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I(we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless form any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property. arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, howsoever such injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons.
