ENTRY FEE INFORMATION ENTRIES CLOSE: 7:00 P.M. (MDT) Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Show Secretary s office, after which time entries cannot be accepted, canceled, altered or substituted except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6, AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows. Entry fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. Post Dated checks & Returned Checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. A collection fee will be added to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor may result in them being put on a CASH ONLY basis. No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes and/or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Show Secretary. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees or signatures. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. Entries must be made on an Official AKC entry form or photocopy of the Official AKC entry form with the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side or they can not be accepted. There will be no refunds for duplicate entries. The club will retain a $2.00 processing fee for entries pulled before the closing date. The owner or agent assumes all responsibilities for wrong or incomplete information of the entry blank. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS ADDITIONAL RULES: Governing Specialties & All-Breed Shows provided by The Flatirons K.C. The Show Site will be available to all exhibitors at 7:00 am Friday, June 02, 2017. All buildings will close at 11:00 pm Friday & Saturday and reopen on Saturday & Sunday at 6:00 am. All dogs, exhibitors & set ups must be out of the Fairgrounds Buildings1/2 hour after Best in Show on Sunday. Security personnel will be on duty from 11:00 pm until 6:00 am Friday & Saturday nights. No dogs may be left unattended overnight. A complete veterinarian Emergency Hospital will be on call. Exhibitors are responsible for the charges they incur. No double handling will be permitted at these shows. Individuals who attempt to double handle from outside the ring will be subject to action by the Bench Show committee. The welfare of an exhibitor s child is the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is expressly understood that the exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children while they are on the show premises. Failure to do so could result in a Bench Show Committee being held. Waiver of Rights Do not leave dogs in closed vehicles. The club reserves the right to remove any animal in distress from a parked vehicle or crate and all persons attending these dog shows hereby waive any claim for any damages that result from such actions. DO NOT LEAVE DOGS IN CLOSED VEHICLES! Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club, nor it s show secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of breed or class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. The show giving club, the show secretary, Boulder County Fairgrounds, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. All dogs present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree to abide by the rules and regulations of The American Kennel Club in effect at the time of this event, and any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list of this event and entry form and any decision made in accord with them. I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. I (we) certify and represent that the dog entered is not a hazard to persons or other dogs.
