Games III Only dogs who have earned the Games II (TG2) or Games III (TG3) shall be eligible for participation in this class. Games to be played at this Trial Boston Bowling: Boston Bowling consists of two mini courses set side by side each having an entrance into a U shaped tunnel. The objective is to send your dog into the correct entrance of the tunnel on both courses, without crossing the penalty line, without faults and earning the highest points in the shortest amount of time. Points are earned for each obstacle performed and accumulated until a fault occurs at which time a whistle will be blown. Dog runs to the table to stop time. Boston Bowling is scored points then time. Las Vegas: The Las Vegas course is designed in a straightaway sequences that double backs on themselves. The object of the game is to accumulate as many points in 60 seconds running sequences of varying point value. Dog must complete the sequence without faults. Las Vegas is scored points then time. Sequences are awarded 5, 10, or 15 points depending on the complexity of the course. Helter Skelter: Helter Skelter is a jumpers course designed in a spiral starting from the center outward and is very fast. Time starts when the dog leaves the table and ends when the dogs crosses the finish line. Helter Skelter is scored faults then time. Time is the tiebreaker. Time and Score: This is a sequencing game run on a standard agility course. The dog is required to perform each obstacle in sequence, acquiring points for each obstacle completed within a fixed course time. The dog may start the course over again if there is time remaining on the clock. At the end of the course time, a whistle is blown and team must race to finish line to stop the clock. Time and Score is scored points then time. Team with most points wins, time is tie breaker. Any fault results the end of point accumulation, the judge will call FAULT! and the team races to the finish line to stop clock. Wild West Pinball: This is a fun game that tests the dog and handlers teamwork. The purpose is to accumulate as many points as you can before the whistle blows. All dogs start at the Gold Bone Tunnel. Gold Nuggets are worth 50 points and can be taken only twice and not back to back. The Cowdog Cliffhanger (teeter) is worth 100 points and can be taken only twice and not back to back. It is only approachable by passing through Dead Dog Round Up. At the whistle, point accumlation stops and team must cross finish line to stop clock. Wild West Pinball is scored points minus faults, then time. Time is tiebreaker. Baseball: Baseball is a distance game in which the dog performs the obstacles at the handler s direction and in the order designated by the judge. The course is diamond-shaped and flows around the pitcher s mound. Bonuses are awarded for each base the dog gets while the handler stays on the pitchers mound. A home run (25 bonus seconds) may be scored if the handler leaves the dog at the stay at the start line, stands on the pitchers mound and remains on the pitchers mound throughout the dog s performance. Baseball is scored time plus faults minus bonus. The team with the lowest score wins! Further games information will be available at the show. All games are taken from: The Clean Run Book of Agility Games, 2 nd Edition by Bud Houston. Copies of this book may be ordered from the Clean Run web site (www.cleanrun.com) or from Dogwoodagility at www.dogwoodagility.com.

ENTRY ELIGIBILITY This trial is open to all TDAA-registered dogs over the age of 12 months, except bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect a dog s physical or mental performance. Height Divisions Owners are responsible for entering the proper height division. Judges reserve the right to measure dogs entered in any trial. At the handler s option, dogs may be entered in a higher height division, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs that run in a height division lower than their proper division will be eliminated. 4 jump height: for dogs measuring 6.5 or less at the withers; or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 10.5 or less 8 jump height: for dogs measuring 10.5 or less at the withers; or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 14.5 or less 12 jump height: for dogs measuring 14.5 or less at the withers; or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 17 or less 16 jump height: for dogs measuring 17 or less at the withers. A jump height exemption (next lower height) will also be granted to veteran dogs (dogs of at least 7 years of age). How the Fast Track Move-Up Program Works Titles may be grandfathered from other organizations on a Fast Track basis. A dog with a higher title from another organization may move up on the same day to the next level of TDAA competition with a qualifying score. It is possible to move up from Beginners to Superior on the same day, if the dog qualifies first in Beginners, and then qualifies again in Intermediate. A qualifying score in the lower class is required to move up to the next higher class. You must submit a copy of title certificates for each dog. Fast tracked dogs are not eligible for placement or title ribbons, but are eligible to receive Q ribbons. Submit $8.00 for each dog s move-up request. Payment of the $8.00 is no guarantee that your dog will qualify at the lower level (though he will have multiple chances at each), and is non-refundable. If you paid the fast track fee at a previous trial, you may fast track at this trial without any additional payment.
