The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America, Inc Awards Presentation for 2008 Winners High in Trial Award Awarded to the Wheaten winning the highest scoring dog/bitch in Regular Classes at AKC Obedience Trials and at least one co-owner is a SCWTCA member The winner scored195.5 at the Terrier Association of Oregon Trial January 17, 2008

High in Trial Award Keegan has retired from competition at the age of 13 but did so in style. He is the all time top ranked SCWT in Obedience Trial Champion points with 72 (100 points are required to receive the title). High in Trial awards all breed and specialtys = 9 High Combined awards 7 (he defeated a future No I champion for one of these awards) Ranked 4th nationally for all terriers in obedience in 2007 Only SCWT to be invited to the Eukanuba Obedience Invitational (5 times) We were able to attend twice. His lowest score was a 182 - his first trial at age two. He is a wonderful ambassador for the breed, a crowd pleaser when he performs and "Mister Friendly" when outside the ring.
