Spring 2015 Dear Friend, I am requesting your support for the Run for the Paws 5K and 1 Mile Walk and Wagging Wellness Fair, an annual community event and fundraiser for Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. Run for the Paws will be held on Sunday, April 26th at Fletcher Park just south of Asheville. This is Brother Wolf Animal Rescue s most attended annual public event and is one of the only 5K events that allows participants to bring their dogs to join in the run or walk. All funds generated through Run for the Paws will support our Four-Point No-Kill Plan, which includes 1) tripling our adoption efforts; 2) increasing community engagement through our grass roots network; 3) expanding our Community Cats Program; and 4) building a new sanctuary for special needs dogs and cats. Run for the Paws will be advertised in print and electronic media throughout the Southeast and thousands of community members and regional animal enthusiasts will flock to Fletcher Park for its unique combination of dog-friendly activities and exciting family-friendly entertainment.
