The pairings of the above truly long distance champion pigeons have been taking place over the past couple of years to form a long distance breeding stud to house children of up to date winning lines. This will hopefully produce many future long distance champions for fanciers intending to compete successfully in long distance pigeon races, especially for fanciers racing as members of The British Barcelona Club, or to improve the present breeding stock of fanciers who have already been successful at distance racing. The above mentioned long distance champions have been mated with the full co-operation and wonderful generosity of their owners. True sportsmen every one and all members of the BBC, so that many others, as well as themselves, will reap the benefits of such a stud and thereby secure and enhance the future of long distance pigeon racing in this country for many years to come.
