Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge (excluding a bitch in season), or barred from competition by action of the event s hunt test committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergences, health emergencies, and the dictates of law enforcements or of the owner(s) of the grounds and /or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the trial, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well being of dogs, participants and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the hunt test before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Turn right at the Penn Valley Road/Rough and Ready intersection (this is the second Penn Valley Road intersection). You ll pass a Shell station and Taco Bell just after the turn. Continue straight at the three-way stop sign in Penn Valley. The road name changes to Spenceville Road. At the next stop sign (1.5 miles), turn left onto Indian Springs Road. Follow it three miles. Turn left onto Long Valley Road (there will be a bank of mailboxes and the Pomroy Ranch on the right). Follow Long Valley Road over seven sets of double speed bumps. Make a left turn through the gate (marked with an orange cone) onto Kick Back Ranch. From Sacramento Take Interstate 80 east toward Reno. Just before Auburn, exit Highway 49 toward Grass Valley. (After exiting the freeway, turn left at the light onto 49). Drive 15 miles on Highway 49 toward Grass Valley. Exit Highway 49 at Lime Kiln Road. Turn left (west) on Lime Kiln. After about five miles, you ll come to a 90-degree right turn where Lime Kiln becomes McCourtney Road. Stay on McCourtney (north). Follow McCourtney five miles to a T intersection at Indian Springs Road. Turn left (west) on Indian and follow it.6 miles. Turn right (north) on Long Valley Road (Pomroy Ranch and a bank of mailboxes are on the South side of the T intersection) Follow Long Valley Road over seven sets of double speed bumps. I understand that while this is the standard method to teach dogs snake avoidance, results may vary. I further acknowledge that the training provided is in no way a guarantee that my dog(s) will avoid snakes encounters in the future and could be injured or killed in the event of snakebite. Subsequent refresher training is recommended and sometimes required. I agree to carefully follow directions given by the dog trainers, snake handlers and volunteers to avoid accidents. I agree to constrain my pet properly on a leash or in a kennel while on location for the training to avoid property damage or conflict with other dogs, training snakes or surrounding areas.
