We have seen one hundred percent improvement. - Jeff, Waterford with Pluto the dachshund and Porky the pug Thank you both for helping with Diva, you saved our camping season this year. We are always singing your praises and recommend you guys all the time. - Marga & Michael, Roseville with Diva the pug We are very pleased with the progress that Seamus is making. While he is not the perfect pet and probably never will be, he definitely has improved. I am anxious to begin the group classes with him. - Judy & Jerry, Shelby Twp, with Seamus the Irish Setter Our golden retriever Snickers is a different dog, but in a great way. We can now control him yet he hasn't lost any of his personality and that is exactly what we were looking for when we called Sit means Sit. We know we still have work to do, but I can comfortably say he has already made progress leaps and bounds over where he was just 2 months ago! - Ken & Nicole, Eastpointe, with Snickers the Golden Retriever
We've noticed a marked improvement in Button's behavior... We were able to take her on a vacation to Florida and she was well behaved in the hotels and visiting relatives. We're looking forward to the group classes so we can better manage her behavior when she is excited. - Carol & Rick, Berkley with Button the German Short Hair Pointer We are enjoying playing ball with Allie. She now comes back and I don't have to fight her for the ball. Walking is more pleasurable. We can't wait for camping season to show off the new and improved Allie. - Bill & Cindy, Sterling Heights with Allie the Our dog, Carley, behaves great. She's a wonderful pet. - Terri & Mark Ross, Sterling Heights with Carley the malinois mix We are just beginning, but we (the people involved) are getting trained pretty good. We just have to work on being consistent. Our dog, has really taken to this type of training. It is fast! We look forward to doing ridiculous things and amazing our family, friends, & neighbors. We look forward to being the best trained around! - Kim, Rochester Hills with Selah the golden/chow mix
Although this is still new to us, we have seen our dogs view us in a different respect. We can actually enjoy the dogs instead of constantly correcting them without much luck. As our dogs progress, I'm sure that our lives together will be much more rewarding and pleasurable. - Mike & Barb, Shelby Twp, with Chelsea the terrier mix & Sully the Irish Setter I've already seen a huge difference in Hunter after 3 sessions. I'm excited to continue in group class. - Jasmine, Warren, Hunter the German Shepherd Dog We are just so happy with the training and how well Sadie is doing after just three lessons. We never expected her do progress that fast. - Gary, Clinton Twp with Sadie the American Bulldog Jackson has made more and faster progress with Sit Means Sit than he did with reward-based group training. ~ Joan, Birmingham with Jackson the border collie mix
I have tried numerous other dog training methods and this is the best one ever. This is the best humane way to train a dog. - Pat, Sterling Heights with Chloe the Weimaraner It s the best. I have encouraged friends with problems with their dog behavior to join. It is incredible to see the way they work with dogs and how they respond to them. - Mary Pat, Grosse Pointe with Bonnie the Scottish Terrier My neighbors have asked what I did with the REAL Charley! - Barbara, Clinton Twp, with Charley the Bichon/Poodle Great trainers and great people! I would not trust my canine best friends with anyone else. - Rachel, Rochester with Rikka the Leonberger
I couldn't believe the difference in Kiya after the initial home visit. The subsequent training sessions were exceptional. She now behaves in the car and no longer barks non-stop. I was even able to go through a fast food drive through and other than trying to get a good sniff at the food, she was terrific. She also doesn't chase after cars or pull when we walk. I am extremely happy with the results. - Barb, Detroit with Kiya the Rottweiler My dog was out of control! He now listens to me, walks on a leash and without one too! I am so happy. He even comes to work with me now and stays in his place until told otherwise. Thanks Sit Means Sit! ~ Amanda, St. Clair Shores
General Comments from our clients... The dogs and humans enjoying a group class I cannot say enough about the team at Sit Means Sit! The whole crew, Nick, Amy, and Matt are awesome. I met the team a short while ago and was at wits end about the way my dog was behaving (ie chewing my table, ripping my blinds down). I told Matt my troubles and he said this is the place for you. Well, it is a couple of months down the road and he was absolutely right. I now have a dog that can play with other dogs does not chew my furniture and new blinds are up. These guys are awesome and I cannot thank them enough. Go Team Sit Means Sit! - Brian, Warren
General Comments from our clients I have been working with my dogs since they were puppies with mostly positive reinforcement and clicker methods. I feel over all my three dogs started off pretty well trained. Even so I did have a few problem behaviors that I was having difficulty with such as excessive barking when meeting another dog on walks or passing by the yard, taking off after a squirrel on off leash walks, and over enthusiastically greeting me upon returning home after being away for more than a few minutes, to mention a few. In the five days I've had the training tools, I have corrected all the above problems. I am so excited to see such immediate results and my boys are smiling. I have always wanted to be able to take my pets where ever I go and have them on or off leash and know with out a doubt they will do what is expected of them. In five days I am convinced I am on the road to achieving my goal. I am looking forward to working with y'all to learn more. Thanks for getting me excited about training again. - Cheryl, with Sam & Gunner, Labrador Retrievers, and Max, the Maltese
General Comments from our clients... We are amazed by Chief's progress after just 3 home sessions! With a toddler and a newborn at home, we were ready to get rid of Chief. Sit Means Sit saved Chief! He is a good listener now and comes when called. He stays out of the trash too. We can actually take him for walks without being pulled. Chief is also beginning to stay in the yard off his leash now. We have some work to do before he's perfect, but he's come a long way in such a short time! Thank you Nick and Matt!!! - Kylie & Philip, Rochester Hills with Chief the Labrador When we first started with Sit Mean Sit, we weren't sure if any obedience program would be able to help tame our dog. Being part Golden and part Chow, it seemed he had more Chow traits than Golden, which meant he had a mind of his own, snapped at people when he didn't get his way, and had a hard time adjusting to discipline. But within a few short weeks of training, we saw amazing results with Chamberlain and now after several months in the program - he is well behaved on and off leash, responds well to his collar and is a happy, well-adjusted dog. The best part is when I'm walking my dogs around the neighborhood off leash, they happily obey me, heeling like pros, sitting when cars go by and Chamberlain is submissive and obedient, which makes me proud. Thank you, Sit Mean Sit, for the chance to really enjoy my dog. Chamberlain enjoying some much deserved freedom Marion Smith
