Recommendations for Live Animal Exhibits on The University of Texas at Austin Campus

Thanks for your purchase! Included in this purchase are charts that talk about animals that are still living and animals that extinct. They can be used as teaching aides and references while teaching about extinct and extant animals. I included two copies of the living animals poster- one with the word LIVING on the poster and one with the word EXTANT, depending on which vocabulary you are using. I utilized these in my classroom by having the students compare and contrast certain animals to see how they are similar and different. I used one pairing as a teacher model and then broke the students into groups according to class size (I did four students in each group). I created Venn diagrams on chart paper for them to list what they found. Photos of my students work is included at the end. Here are the animal pairings that I used but you could arrange them as desired.
