It s a treasure hunt on beaches along the Gulf Coast, but people aren t searching for gold, kids they re looking for white, sea turtle eggs. This year, because of oil in the water, it isn t safe for newbornturtles like Iggy and Sue to go swimming after they hatch. They need a new home on a safer shore, but first they must be found what are we waiting for? To help, biologists and other people who care are hunting for nests of eggs laid by mama Loggerheads and other kinds of turtles.
