Activity Adult supervision required Chocolate-Dipped Apple Recipe 5 mins preparation time 5 mins baking time Makes 12 apples Follow this simple recipe to create a yummy treat for Bonfire Night! Ingredients 12 dessert apples 12 wooden sticks 150g crushed sweets 1kg plain chocolate, chopped Preparation method 1 2 3 4 5 6 Place the crushed sweets on a plate and set aside. Insert the wooden sticks into the cores of the apples at the stem. Place the chocolate into a metal or glass bowl and set over a pan of simmering water. Stir frequently until melted then remove from the heat. Dip apple into the melted chocolate, turning to coat completely. Dip or roll your apple in the crushed sweets, then place on a sheet of greaseproof paper. Repeat with the remaining apples. Allow apples to set at room temperature until the chocolate is firm, about 20 minutes, before serving.
