Print entries neatly, provide the color, broken, solid, groups, proper class: Sr., 6-8, Jr., sex and ear number. Entries must be paid to the show secretary before the judging begins. All un-shown entries will be billed by WMRBA and no new entries will be accepted until all past entries have been paid. Anyone vending at the show will be asked for a cash donation. WMRBA Show rules 1. W.M.R.B.A. being a member of the ARBA Inc. will be governed by and run under the latest revised official show rules of the ARBA Inc. All prizes will be awarded strictly in accordance with the American standard of perfection. Your entry indicates the acceptance of these rules and any other rule set by this club. 2. Exhibitors attempting to or actually interfering with, annoying, molesting, or influencing the judge or acting in any way unbecoming to exhibitors, will have their stock disqualified and barred from the show. No one except the judge and his/her assistants are allowed behind the tables. 3. Awards will be given in accordance with the requirements of specialty clubs. Rosettes will be given for best of breed and best opposite sex in sanctioned breeds with 10 or more shown. Ribbons will be awarded on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place in all classes. 4. W.M.R.B.A. will not be held responsible for loss by fire or otherwise. All necessary responsible care will be taken by attendants. 5. This is a one day box show and the animals must be confined in a manner which will protect the showroom floor. Carrying cages must have a leak proof bottom or pan. Animals will be carried by their owners to and from the judging tables. All youth exhibitors must be able to handle their own animals. All youth entries are to be placed on the table by youth exhibitors only. 6. Advertisements will not be permitted near the judging tables. Preferably not at all until the judging is over. 7. The judge s decision shall be final, except in case of absolute fraud. Protests, if any, must be filed with the show superintendent within two hours after judging and must be accompanied with the fee of $50.00, which will be returned if protest is sustained. 8. W.M.R.B.A. reserves the right to substitute another judge or judges in place of those listed or appoint additional judges, if necessary. Judges are assigned breeds according to the amount of animals entered by the night before the show. Your entry denotes acceptance of assigned judge. Please do not ask for a breed to be reassigned a judge. 9. Displays will not count unless entries are made in four or more classes in a breed. Points will count 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 times the number in the class. 10. No rabbits are to be removed from the show or show area without the permission of the show superintendent. 11. All rabbits are to be permanently tattooed in the left ear and it must be legible as per ARBA rules. 12. Any animal disqualified by the judge for nasal discharge, must immediately be removed from the showroom and is not eligible for second show. The show superintendent has the right to examine any animal. The show superintendent reserves the right to refuse entry or remove from the showroom all diseased or unsightly animals. In this unlikely event entry fees shall be forfeit. 13. Any rabbit entered in fur or wool class, must also be entered in regular breed classes. Any animal that is disqualified or eliminated in open class may not be entered in fur or wool class. 14. All un-shown entries will be billed by W.M.R.B.A. and no future entries will be taken until past entries have been paid. 15. Attention parents: you are responsible for your children. Any damage they may cause will be your responsibility. Until damage is corrected, any prize money, premiums, awards, etc will be held back. No future entries will be accepted. 16. All Carriers must be kept a reasonable distance from show table at all times. Safe passage for all must be maintained as they attempt to pass the table! If you find it neccessary to bring your carriers up to the show table while your breed is being judged, you must find an open space, so not to block or hinder free movement of other exhibitors or passersby. 17. No eating or drinking will be allowed at or near the judging tables by exhibitors while the show is being judged 18. No alcoholic beverages, firearms or smoking is allowed on the premises. This shall be defined as the structure that houses the rabbit show in its entirety. It may be a tent, building, pole barn, etc. 19. No pets please. (dogs, cats, etc. )

W.M.R.B.A. holds three ARBA sanctioned rabbit & cavy shows each year. These shows generally occur in January (usually 3 rd Sunday of the month), our May NELE show weekend, and the third is our Fryeburg Fair Show which occurs the first Sunday of the Fryeburg Fair. W.M.R.B.A. also has 4 displays each year where members of WMRBA that have joined our club on or before June 1 st of the same year may sell their rabbits & cavies. These displays are held at the Waterford World s fair Waterford, ME (3days), Oxford Fair - Oxford, Me (7 days), Common Ground Country Fair - Unity, Me (4 days) and at the Fryeburg Fair - Fryeburg, Me (8 days) Most of our meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month. However, exceptions are made when the meeting dates conflict with other rabbit events, i.e. Rabbit shows. Occasionally, our meetings may be held at one of the fair locations to have a work meeting. These exceptions will be denoted in our newsletter; each member will receive a copy of the newsletter either by mail or email recapping the minutes from the last meeting as well as notice of the date and time of the next meeting.
