AUCTION RULES AND REGULATIONS

AUCTION RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. This is a No Reserve Auction. 2. Entry fee $5.00 per pen No more than three (3) birds per pen. 3. No single male birds will be accepted. 4. Pens of roosters will not be accepted. 5. Limit of ten (10) lots per vendor (excluding Can Assist sale lots) 6. 10% of all sales (excluding Can-Assist lots) to be retained by the Club as Commission. 7. The Club reserves the right to accept or reject any bird. All birds must be of good quality and any bird deemed by the Committee to be not purebred, of good health or deformed in any way will be rejected without question. 8. All birds must be clean of vermin ie. Scaly Legs, Lice or Mite etc. 9. Pen fees must be paid with pen bookings otherwise birds will not be accepted and catalogued. Entries can be made online through our website (ww.armidalepoultryclub.com) with payment to be made by direct deposit as indicated on the online entry form. 10. All birds must be penned by 9.00am on the morning of the Auction. Viewing up to 10.30am when the auction will commence in the hall and the shed will be closed. Birds can be penned on Friday night from 4.30pm to 7.00pm and Saturday morning from 7.00am to 9.00am. 11.All prospective buyers must have obtained and completed a Buyers bidding card. 12. All purchases must be paid for in full on the day (Cash or Cheque only). 13. All birds are to be sold per pen. 14. All pens will be secured before start of Auction and will only be opened for the buyer by a Steward at the completion of sale and upon presentation of receipt. NO EXCEPTIONS. 15. At the fall of the hammer, all birds become the responsibility of the purchaser. Any disputes arising from the purchase of birds will be a matter between the vendor and purchaser only. 16. All birds are sold exclusive of GST, except where a vendor is registered for GST where 10% GST shall be added to the knockdown price. 17. No lots to be sold outside of venue. 18. Stewards will supervise penning and unpenning. 19. All care will be taken of birds, however the Armidale District Poultry Club will not take responsibility for any loss or damage. 20. Boxes will not be provided so buyers to bring your own. 21. Catalogue will be available on our website (www.armidalepoultryclub.com) at the earliest available date following the closing of entries.
