Show Rules 1. Competition is open to Texas exhibitors only. 2. Entry Fee is $3.50 per bird entered in the Open, $3.00 per bird for BYC and $2.50 per bird for Juniors. Entry deadline is February 17, 2018. Make checks payable to Danny Hughes and mail it to PO BOX 251, Garwood, TX 77442. 3. Coop-in is Friday March 2, 2018 from 4pm - 8pm or Saturday March 3, 2018 from 7am to 9am. Birds must be in place by 9:00am and ready for judging. Page 1 of 6
4. Coop-out is Saturday March 3, 2018 after the awards. 5. Each exhibitor MUST include a copy of a current P/T testing report with the entry form and fees. 6. The terms cock, cockerel, hen, and pullet, are thus defined: Cock - male over one year; Cockerel - male less than one year; Hen - female over one year; Pullet - female less than one year. 7. In the Open and Junior classes, only birds of breeds currently recognized by the APA and ABA can be entered. Bantam and large fowl chickens, bantam ducks, large ducks, geese, turkeys, and guineas will be accepted. 8. Diseased birds will be removed from showroom by owner and show officials. 9. Poultry sales & other sales will be permitted as long as you have a current negative PT testing report and the Texas Permit to sell. (Cost $5 fee or a donated raffle item) Page 2 of 6
