Aluminum, buoys, glass, glass bottles, visqueen all rare. Styrofoam and plastics common. Fishing gear abundant. Lot more trash than I epected in low use people areas. People areas were pretty clean. Saw fish part, fish heads, bait near fishing areas. Not good.

Additional Observations and Comments 25-Apr-87 29-Apr to 6 3-Apr-9 3-May-92 2-Sep-96 2-Sep- Herring being unloaded at dock. Fishermen preparing for halibut fishing. Fish gurry emptying in to harbor. Oil slick near docks. Trailer leaking waste water. Manmade beach with beach grass, dandelions, a few other species have started growing. Homer harbor -very heavy use. (Detailed notes on weather, plants, animals, and minerals--see datasheets) Overall good-- Not bad. Not certain many people sections real at all. Lots of bad, eg activity: "Fishing Hole" (also detailed comments-- see datasheets) fishing, charters, leisure on water.
