REBEL RABBIT BREEDERS CLUB SHOW There will be an additional ARBA all breed open and youth show hosted by the Rebel Rabbit Breeders. Judging for the Open show will take place Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 12 pm and the youth show Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 10 am. Catalog for this show can be found at http://wsrba.net/shows.htm or by emailing Kevin Rudolph at rudolphsrabbitry@yahoo.com All rabbits to be entered in these shows must be cooped for the duration of the Washington State Fair Open Rabbit Show. SHOW LIMIT If there are more entries than space will allow, those entries registering first will be accepted. Entries will be limited to 45 rabbits per person, and a total of 700 rabbits in the Youth/Open shows. FAIR PASSES One (1) pass per exhibitor per day of show will be allowed. NOTE: Passes are not needed for checking in or out. OFFICIAL ARBA SANCTIONED SHOW The Washington State Fair, a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association, will hold its annual show Sunday through Thursday, September 11-15, 2016. The Rabbit Show will be governed by and run under the latest revised official show rules of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. Rabbit registration is not required to show in an ARBA sanctioned show. However, if an exhibitor wishes to register their rabbit, they must have the pedigree and a current ARBA card. The Rabbit, Poultry and Cavy Barn will be open to receive exhibits on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 between 6 am and 8 am. No rabbits or cavies are allowed in the barn prior to 6 am. Entrance to the grounds is at the Service Gate on 5th Street SW (off of 15th Avenue SW), Late entries will not be accepted. Exhibitors must submit Vet check-in slip to the Superintendent of their Livestock Department in order to proceed to Livestock Barn. NO EXCEPTIONS. 2. Complete online entry carefully. Be sure to include the name of breed, the color variety, the class in which it is to be judged, sex, its ear number, and whether it is to be entered in fur class. (See step-by-step online entry instructions, page 1.) 3. Bucks are male rabbits. Does are female rabbits. Sections marked Senior, Intermediate, Junior and Pre- Junior are determined by the age and weight of the rabbit. Check individual breed standard. 4. Fur classes will be as listed under each breed (each have their own class numbers) plus normal white fur and normal color fur. All entries in fur and wool classes must first be entered in type class. ARBA Standard of Perfection rules apply. 5. A fryer pen will consist of three (3) rabbits, all the same breed and variety. Age limit is not over 10 weeks old, weight limit is between three and one half (3 1/2) and five and one half (5 1/2) pounds for each rabbit. Entries will not be dressed out. 6. Single fryers may not be over 10 weeks old, weight must be between three and one half (3 1/2) and five and one half (5 1/2) pounds. Entries will not be dressed out. 7. Roasters and Stewers - Entries must be entered in breed class. OPEN CLASS RABBITS AND CAVIES ARRIVE: Between 6 am and 8 am on Sunday, September 11, 2016 OPEN CLASS RABBITS AND CAVIES LEAVE: Between 6 pm and 7 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2016-5 - 8. Roasters - All rabbits in this class must be less than six (6) months of age, and must weigh between five and one half (5 1/2) and nine (9) pounds. 9. Stewers - All rabbits in this class must be six (6) months of age or older, and weigh a minimum of eight (8) pounds. 10. All rabbits must be entered in owner s name. 11. All rabbits must have a permanent, legible ear tattoo or tag to correspond with the entry form. Ear Changes will be allowed at a cost of $2.00 each, before 8 am on check-in day. Tattoos for rabbits will be available in the barn upon arrival and will cost $2.00

each (you can use letters, numbers or a combination of both). No other changes will be allowed. 12. Any rabbit showing symptoms of any disease as determined by the veterinarian, WILL NOT be allowed in the barn. 13. Animals showing symptoms of illness during the show will be removed to a special holding area and the owner will be notified by show officials to pick up their animal. 14. We reserve the right to substitute judges if necessary. 15. When there is no competition, the judge will place the rabbit first, or not worthy of award. 16. The greatest possible care will be given to all exhibits, but the management will not be responsible for any accident, mistake, loss or damage that occurs. THE SPECIMEN IS BEING ENTERED AT THE SOLE RISK OF THE OWNER. 17. No selling of rabbits or cavies will be allowed in the barn, nor will For Sale signs be permitted in the barn or on Fair property. 18. ABSOLUTELY NO BREEDING ALLOWED ON GROUNDS. NO EXPECTANT DOES MAY BE ENTERED. 19. All exhibits must be removed Thursday evening, September 15, 2016 between 6 pm and 7 pm. Solid bottom push carts, wagons, etc., will make rabbit removal easier. Rabbits not removed by 7 pm Thursday night will be disposed of at the discretion of the show superintendent. OPEN CLASS CAVY SHOW RULES ALL EXHIBITORS IN THIS SHOW AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES: 1. The Rabbit, Poultry and Cavy Barn will open to receive exhibits on SUNDAY, SEPT. 11, 2016 between 6 am and 8 am. No rabbits or cavies allowed in the barn prior to 6 am. Entrance to the grounds is at the Service Gate on 5th Street SW (off of 15th Avenue SW.) Late entries will not be accepted. Exhibitors must submit Vet check-in slip to the Superintendent of their Livestock Department in order to proceed to Livestock Barn. NO EXCEPTIONS. 2. Complete online entry carefully. Include the name of breed, color variety, class in which it is to be judged, sex and ear tag number. (See step-by-step online entry instructions, page 1.) 3. All cavies must be entered in owner s name. 4. Only Ear changes will be allowed before 8 am on the day of the show. Ear changes are $2.00 each. No other changes will be allowed. 5. Any cavy showing symptoms of any disease as determined by the veterinarian WILL NOT be allowed in the barn. 6. Animals showing symptoms of illness during the show will be removed to a special holding area, and the owner will be notified by show officials to pick up their animal. 7. All cavies must have a permanent, legible ear tag to correspond with entry. 8. We reserve the right to substitute judges, if necessary. 9. When there is no competition, the judge will place the cavy first, or not worthy of award. 10. The greatest possible care will be given to all exhibits, but the management will not be responsible for any accident, mistake, loss or damage that occurs.
