Tournament Rules and Regulations (1) The Tournament Organiser(s) reserve the right to refuse entries and admission to the event of any persons not in good standing within the BFA. (2) No person shall carry out punitive or harsh handling of a dog at the event. (3) Bitches in season are not allowed near the tournament area. Mating of dogs is not allowed. Any bitch due to whelp within seven days of the competitions is not permitted at the Tournament. No bitch can compete whilst in pup and for at least eight weeks after giving birth. (4) A dog must be withdrawn from competition if it is: (A) Suffering from infectious or contagious diseases. (B) A danger to the safety of any person or animal. (C) Likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues to compete. (5) It is the Team Captain s responsibility to ensure the Team is available for their Division and running order. (6) The Organiser(s) reserve the right to make any alterations they deem necessary in the event of unforeseen circumstances. (7) If circumstances make it necessary to cancel the Tournament, the Organiser(s) reserve the right to defray expenses incurred by deducting such expenses from the entry fees received. (8) All dogs enter the event at their own risk and whilst every care will be taken, the Tournament Organiser(s) cannot accept responsibility for damage, injury, or loss however caused to dogs, persons or property whilst at the event. (9) All owners/handlers must clear up after their dogs. Anyone failing to do so will be asked to leave the venue. (10) Current BFA Rules and Policies will apply throughout the Sanctioned Tournament. PAWS IN THE PARK SHOWS 2009 M.D.S. SHOW CONDITIONS 1) All exhibitors/competitors/officials with vehicle passes are to be in their designated parking area before 9.30am on show days. No vehicles are allowed to move around the show ground area at any time when the show is open to the public. People arriving late may be required to park in the public car park and pay the normal entrance fee. 2) Passes are to be displayed at all times in the car windscreen. MDS will be issuing all exhibitors with a vehicle pass together with an exhibitor pass for every person. No one will be allowed access in or out of the showground without their pass. We will send you a booking form for your passes nearer the show date. 3) Parking with passes in the special parking areas is strictly only for people who are officially exhibiting, competing or judging. 4) Camping is available for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. If you are camping onsite you will require a camping pass. Camping will have basic camping facilities and will not include electric hook-ups. The Hop Farm has its own dedicated campsite with facilities. If any of your exhibitors wish to book into this campsite then they will need to do so directly through the Hop Farm. This will incur a charge. 5) People camping shall leave it in a clean and tidy condition. Chemical toilets are ONLY to be emptied where directed by MDS. DO NOT empty into the temporary show toilets. 6) Dog owners/handlers should clean up after their dogs. The safety and well being of all animals at the show remains the responsibility of the exhibitor/owner. This includes provision of shade, shelter and water as required. 7) Mating of dogs is not allowed at the show. Bitches in season are not allowed near the event areas. All dogs attend the show at the owners risk and whilst every care will be taken, the event organiser(s) cannot accept responsibility for damage, injury, or loss however caused to dogs, persons or property whilst at the event. 8) No person shall carry out punitive or harsh handling of any animal. PLEASE REMEMBER when events are held in front of the general public to typify responsible animal ownership at all times. 9) M.D.S. Ltd. and their agents retain the right to refuse entry to or continued attendance at their shows. This will include anybody refusing to comply with the show conditions, MDS Health and Safety policy, and/or reasonable requests from M.D.S. Ltd. staff and their agents. We want everyone to enjoy their participation at the show. Please help us to ensure the relaxed atmosphere, which is characteristic of M.D.S. events, is not jeopardised. In particular, please have consideration for others working and attending the show in regard to the noise late at night or very early in the morning. There will be a vet on call on the showground on show days.
