Entries not on official herding entry forms, or photocopies of entry forms, without the Release Form on the reverse side of the entry form are not acceptable. No entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Checks returned for insufficient fees will have the entry cancelled; acceptance of such an entry will only be made if the full fees, plus a $25 administrative fee, are paid via certified check or money order & received prior to the start of judging. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a judge, or barred from the competition by actions of the Trial Committee. Refunds of entries pulled after closing date will be made as long as an alternate runs; if no alternate runs, no refund will be given. Entry fees will not be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riot, civil disturbance, fire or Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strike or any other cause beyond the control of the club. SITE INFORMATION: Please bring your own chairs and shade tents/screens as there is little shade available. Dogs MUST be confined in vehicles or crated. Crates/ex-pens need to be placed only in the areas designated by the Trial Committee. Dogs should be leashed when not in the arena. Exhibitors MUST clean up after their dogs and themselves! Anyone witnessed not cleaning up after their dogs will be excused from the trial with no refund. Herding Instinct Certificate will take place in a minimum sized arena per the AKC rulebook. The owner, an agent or Judge may handle the dog. Dog must be able to exhibit a sit or a down on lead before being allowed in the ring. Dogs must be under control prior to entering the ring. Judges reserve the right to refuse contact of the stock for lack of control at the gate. If there are Alternate entries, all alternates must report to the Trial Secretary before the start of the day s classes.
